Akihiro Lawrence Kotabe (born July 18, 1980) is an American actor. His credits include playing Diego in Silo , Ben Nakamura in The Man in the High Castle , Dead Man in Everly , [1] [2] Meyers in The November Man , [3] Eric in The Assets , [4] Akira Takahashi in Mad Men , and Shingo in The Achievers. [5] [6] Kotabe also provides the voice of Kyan in the CBeebies animated series Go Jetters, the title character Boyster in the Disney XD animated series Boyster, as well Conor in the podcast Passenger List. He was nominated for Best Actor at the 2020 Madrid International Film Festival for the neo-noir film, Clay's Redemption. [7] [8]

The Shawshank Redemption is a 1994 American prison drama film written and directed by Frank Darabont, based on the 1982 Stephen King novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption. The film tells the story of banker Andy Dufresne, who is sentenced to life in Shawshank State Penitentiary for the murders of his wife and her lover, despite his claims of innocence. Over the following two decades, he befriends a fellow prisoner, contraband smuggler Ellis "Red" Redding, and becomes instrumental in a money laundering operation led by the prison warden Samuel Norton. Shrek 2 is a 2004 American animated comedy film loosely based on the 1990 children's picture book Shrek! by William Steig. Shrek and Donkey team up with a sword-wielding cat named Puss in Boots to foil her plans.
Yōichi Kotabe is a Japanese animator and character designer. He has worked on several anime films from the 1960s and 1970s, on the Super Mario video game series, and the Pokémon series in television and film. He was an employee at Nintendo for two decades doing illustrations, character designs, and supervision from 1985 to 2007. At that time, he began to work as a freelancer for the anime and video game industry, including for Nintendo again.

The series was executively produced by Morgan Hertzan, Rudy Bednar and Andrew Chapman. The pilot episode earned a 0.7 rating in the 18-to-49-year-old demographic, making The Assets the lowest rated drama premiere ever on one of the big three networks.
