Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, often referred to by his initials NTR, was an Indian actor, filmmaker and politician who served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years over three terms. He starred in over 300 films, predominantly in Telugu cinema, and was referred by the media as Viswa Vikhyatha Nata Sarvabhouma. Rao received three National Film Awards for co-producing Thodu Dongalu (1954) and Seetharama Kalyanam (1960) under National Art Theater, Madras, and for directing Varakatnam (1970). Known for his breakthrough performances in Raju Peda (1954) and Lava Kusa (1963), Rao garnered the Nandi Award for Best Actor for Kodalu Diddina Kapuram in 1970, and the Inaugural Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu in 1972 for Badi Panthulu.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao, widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his work majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Akkineni received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South. He is a recipient of the Dada Saheb Phalke Award and Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian award, for his contributions to the fields of Art and Cinema.

The film won nine Nandi Awards.
Laya is a former Indian actress and Kuchipudi dancer known for her work primarily in Telugu films alongside a few Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films. Laya first appeared as a child actor in Bhadram Koduko (1992) and later she started working as a lead actress with Swayamvaram (1999). She is runner up in the Star 2000 contest conducted to introduce new talent and cast them in Paradesi movie and she also won Special Jury Nandi award for that movie. She won two Nandi Awards for Best Actress in consecutive years for Manoharam (2000) and Preminchu (2001).
Bhadram Koduko was a 1992 Telugu film. It is directed by Akkineni Kutumba Rao. Santhosh Reddy played the leadrole. Laya was starring in the cast. The story is based on the various problems faced by the street children and child labour in India particularly urban areas. The film won two Nandhi State Film Awards and two National Film Awards.
Sudigundalu (transl. Whirlpools) is a 1968 Indian Telugu-language philosophical film, produced by Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Adurthi Subba Rao under the Chakravarthy Chitra banner and directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and has music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. It was released on 28 June 1968. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu, The Nandi Award for Best Feature Film, and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu. It marked the debut of Nageswara Rao's son Nagarjuna as child artist in a cameo. The cult classic film was screened at the Tashkent Film Festival, and the International Film Festival of India.
Kanaala Nanjunda Tirumala Sastry was an Indian film critic, screenwriter, director, littérateur, and producer, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has garnered six National Film Awards, three Nandi Awards and three International honors.

N. Trivikrama Rao was an Indian film producer, director and screenwriter in Telugu cinema. He was the younger brother of N. T. Rama Rao and the co-owner of National Art Theatre, Madras, a production house under which he has co-produced 40 feature films alongside N. T. Rama Rao. He has received four National Film Awards, three Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South.
Rangula Kala is a 1983 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by B. Narsing Rao. The film won the Best Feature Film in Telugu, at the 31st National Film Awards "For a vivid portrayal of urban life as seen by a sensitive painter in search of his identification with the masses". It was screened in "Indian Panorama" of the 9th International Film Festival of India.
Bangaru Kutumbam is a 1994 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by Kaikala Nageswara Rao under the Ramaa Films banner, presented by Satyanarayana and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Jayasudha with music composed by Raj–Koti. The film was a box office success and won two Nandi Awards.
Dr. Paruchuri Gopala Krishna is an Indian film screenwriter, story writer, dialogue writer, actor, director, poet, playwright, novelist, and orator predominant in Telugu cinema. Dr. Gopala Krishna is the younger of the Paruchuri Brothers, a writing duo in the film industry who have worked on more than 350 films since 1978.
