Al Faisal Al Zubair (born 17 April 1998) is a racing driver from Oman. [1]

Career

In 2015, Al-Faisal Al-Zubair competed in the international field of the BRDC British Formula 4 racing, where he collected one podium finish and was placed fourth overall in the Autumn Trophy. [2] [3] [4]

He graduated to the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Fortec Motorsports in 2016. He then embarked upon a winter racing programme in 2016-2017 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East for the first time. He finished fifth in the overall standings and clinched Rookie and Silver category victories.

At the start of 2017, he teamed up with Walter Lechner Racing to take part in the Porsche Mobil 1 Super Cup that runs in conjunction with the FIA Formula One World Championship. [5] [6] He became champion in the 2017-2018 Porsche Cup Challenge Middle East in only his second season in the series.

In 2018-2019, Al-Faisal Al-Zubair successfully defended his championship by winning the Porsche BWT GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East series, the first racing driver to win consecutive championships in its 10-year history. [7] [1] [8] [9]

The 2015 Duo BRDC Formula 4 Autumn Trophy was a two-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across England, as an off-season trophy to the BRDC Formula 4 Championship. The trophy featured a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, and also featured the debut of the new 2-litre 230-bhp Tatuus-Cosworth single seat race car that will be used from the 2016 BRDC Formula 4 Championship season onwards. The season was run at Snetterton 300 on November 7–8 and at Brands Hatch Indy on November 14–15, in two quadruple-header events.

The 2016 BRDC British F3 Championship is a motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across England and, for the first time, Belgium. The 2016 season will be the first one under the BRDC British F3 denomination. Trenton Estep is an American professional racing driver. Estep grew up racing karts from the age of 4 years old in New Braunfels, Texas. He competed in various karting competitions such as SKUSA Pro Tour, Florida Winter Tour, US Open and Rotax Grand Finals in Portugal. In 2016 he made the transition from karts to open wheel cars. He entered the Formula Tour F1600, Canadian F1600 Super Series and F1600 Championship Series winning two Championships. He also ran in the opening round of the Redbull Global Rallycross Championship in Phoenix Arizona. In 2017 Estep made his transition from open wheel to cars in the North American Porsche GT3 Cup Series, with JDX Racing. Estep finished on podium 11 of 16 races with multiple wins placing 3rd in the Porsche GT3 Cup Championship. In 2018 he returned to the Porsche GT3 Cup series with JDX Racing with renewed sponsorship by Hertz Global along with a new sponsor Byers Porsche of Columbus Ohio.
