Alcohol-infused whipped cream is a type of whipped cream that is mixed with an alcoholic drink.
By 2005 [1] it had been commercialized. It has been sold under brand names such as Liquor Whipped, which is 28 proof; CREAM, which is 30 proof; Whipped Lightning which is 35.5 proof and is made in various flavors; [1] [2] Get Whipped, [3] Whipsy, which is 27 proof [4] and made with wine; [5] and Canisters of Cream. [6] The commercial preparations are offered in aerosol cans.
The toppings have been criticized for their potential to be "aimed at young drinkers". [7] "If a product looks like something else, it's easy not to be aware that it might contain a lot of alcohol," a public health official observed. [8] In the United States the sale of alcohol-infused whipped cream is regulated as a "distilled spirits specialty product". [9]

Kübler Absinthe Superieure is a brand of absinthe, distilled in the Val-de-Travers region of Switzerland also known as the "birthplace of absinthe". Kübler Absinthe was first produced in 1863 and was the first brand to be sold legally in Switzerland after the national ban on absinthe was lifted in March, 2005. The legalization of absinthe in Switzerland is largely due to Kübler's lobbying efforts. The United States Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) approved the formula for Kübler Absinthe in 2004, and approved the product for sale in the United States in May 2007 after three years of discussions among Kübler, Food and Drug Administration, TTB, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. These discussions proved to be instrumental in opening the door for many brands of absinthe to be legally sold or produced in the United States.
Firefly Distillery is a company located near Park Circle North Charleston, South Carolina, that produces a line of alcoholic beverages and licenses its brand name to the Sazerac Company for Firefly branded products produced elsewhere. Some Firefly branded products sold outside of South Carolina are actually produced in Kentucky by Sazerac rather than being produced by Firefly itself.

Due to a special grandfathering exemption under a Tennessee law enacted in 2013, the Prichard's distillery in Kelso is the only producer allowed to label its product as "Tennessee Whiskey" without using this process. Prichard's whiskey is produced entirely using pot stills rather than column stills.
