Alireza Khorshidi (born 16 May 1951) is an Iranian retired football forward who played for Iran from 1971-1978. [1] He competed in the 1976 Asian Cup where Iran won their third championship title. [2] [ circular reference ] [3] He also played for Iran at the 1976 Summer Olympics. [4] Khorshidi played club football for Homa.

The finals were hosted by Iran between 3 and 13 June 1976. The field of six teams was split into two groups of three. Iran won their third title in a row, beating Kuwait in the final.
