Ampang Medikal is a Malaysian based medical drama series. The brainchild of Abdul Rahman Ahmad (CEO of Media Prima Sdn Bhd) and Keith Chong (CEO of Niche Films Sdn Bhd), the series is a first in Malaysian TV for medical dramas, set in a fictional hospital in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur and also the first to feature an openly gay person character onscreen played by Kris Law . Production began on May 5, 2008 and the series debuted on NTV7 on August 21, 2008. The series has been compared to Grey's Anatomy . [1]

Ampang Park Shopping Centre was a shopping centre located on Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur, also was called as Ampang Park. It was the first shopping centre to be built in Malaysia. It is designed by the architect of Singapore's People's Park Complex, the Design Partnership, in conjunction with Kuala Lumpur-based architect Thomas A.S. Tiang. The developers were the Low Keng Huat Brothers Realty Sdn Bhd. Ampang Park was closed on 31 December 2017 and demolished in 2018 to make way for the construction of MRT Ampang Park Station which opened on 16 March 2023. Further redevelopment of the former site is yet to begun and the site currently serve as a temporary recreational park along with connecting walkway path to Ampang Park LRT station.

The East Klang Valley Expressway, EKVE East Klang Valley Expressway, Kuala Lumpur North Dispersal Expressway or Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road(KLORR) is a new expressway under construction in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The 39.5-kilometre-long (24.5 mi) expressway will connect Ukay Perdana in Ampang, Selangor and Bandar Sungai Long in Kajang. This expressway is part of the Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road (KLORR). The construction of the expressway was started on 1 September 2015. Once completed, the expressway will benefit 140,000 motorists per day.

Kris Law, born Chin Chiang is an internationally and critically acclaimed film actor from Malaysia of Chinese and Thai descent. Law reached global prominence when he became the first ASEAN Actor to debut in India, starring with Academy Awards nominated Bollywood actor Aamir Khan in the Incredible India ad campaign. In Malaysia, Law was most known for the role of Christien, the first openly gay character on Malaysian media primetime TV drama series Ampang Medikal. Law has appeared in Malaysian, Singaporean, Bollywood and Hong Kong films including "Anak Mami Kembali", 1957: Hati Malaya and A House of Happiness, and has starred in over 20 international TV commercials with a total box-office of RM900 million to date.

Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur (GKL) (previously known as Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre) is a private hospital in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The hospital was funded in 1996, and commenced its operations on 1 August 1996.
