[3]

Blankson then went on to attend Harvard University, where she graduated cum laude in 2002 with a degree in Government. After college, Blankson worked as a Policy Fellow for Connecticut Voices for Children, advocating for youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. She then went on to attend the Yale School of Management, where she earned her MBA.

In 2012, Blankson co-authored the children's book Ripple's Effect with her brother, Shawn Achor, as a way to bring positive psychology concepts to children. [6] The book was later bought by Source Books and renamed How to Make a Shark Smile. [7]
