Amy Yamazaki is a British actress best known for her portrayal of Charlotte Lau in the long-running Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks . [1]

Career

Yamazaki began acting when she was ten years old. [1] She made her on-screen acting debut in BBC medical drama Holby City in 2001. Since then, she has appeared in television show such as CBBC's Powers , BBC Three's Marigold and she also appeared in the pilot episode of BBC Three comedy Coming of Age as one of the lead characters Jas. [1]

In 2009, Yamazaki began playing lesbian student Charlotte Lau in Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks . [1] In 2010, Yamazaki left Hollyoaks after a year in the show.

Hollyoaks is a British soap opera which originally began airing on Channel 4 on 23 October 1995. It was created by Phil Redmond, who had previously conceived the soap opera Brookside. From 2005 to 2023, episodes have aired on sister channel E4 a day prior to their broadcast on Channel 4. The character briefly returned in August 2016 and again in March 2017, where his youngest daughter Amy Barnes was killed off in a "whodunit" storyline. Kerry Bennett is a British television and theatre actress. Bennett grew up in Stockport, United Kingdom and began her career aged fourteen acting in theatre productions. She rose to prominence playing the role of Jess Cranham in the BBC medical drama Casualty and Eva Falco in the soap opera Hollyoaks. Bennett has also appeared in numerous other British television dramas, soap operas and short films. Bennett has also participated in voice over work and continued to pursue her theatrical career when not signed to television or film roles.
