Andreas Vojta (born 9 June 1989 in Vienna) is an Austrian distance runner. He competed in the 1500 metres competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He is the current Austrian marathon champion. [2]

Running career

Andreas Vojta began his running career at LCC Vienna. He was initially trained by Renata Sitek and then rose to the training group of athletic conductor Wilhelm Lilge. After finishing a strong 11th overall in the men's 1500 metres at the 2010 European Athletics Championships, he was named Austrian athlete of the year and was awarded the "Golden Emil". [3]

At the European Athletics Championships, Wightman earned a bronze in 2018 and a silver for the 800 metres in 2022. He won bronze medals at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Luke Mathews is an Australian middle-distance runner who competes in the 800 metres and 1500 metres. He represented his country in both events at the 2016 Summer Olympics. As well as in the 4 × 800 m at the 2017 IAAF World Relays, the 1500m at the 2017 IAAF World Championships and in both events at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He also competed for Australia at 2019 World Athletics Championships in the 800 m.
