Andrew Freeman is an American rock singer and guitarist who has played for a number of bands, including hard rock guitarist George Lynch's Lynch Mob. Freeman is currently the frontman for the hard rock supergroup Last in Line, composed of former members of Dio.
Freeman was the guitarist and co-songwriter/producer for the Massachusetts band Thirty Stones, whose album Canvas, produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, peaked at number 5 on FMQB's Metal Detector and CMJ Crucial Spins. The band performed more than 250 concerts in 2003, appearing with bands such as Sevendust, Staind, Shadows Fall, Powerman 5000, Dope, Nonpoint, Hed PE, and Lacuna Coil, among others. [2] Thirty Stones were also featured on several compilation CDs released by Cleopatra Records. The band reformed at the end of 2010, appearing on the cover of The Valley Advocate and performing a few shows in Massachusetts and California. [3]
Freeman joined punk band the Offspring as a touring guitarist and backup vocalist on their 2008 tour for the album Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace . In 2010, Freeman joined Hurricane as the lead vocalist, performing a few shows with the band before leaving in 2013.
In 2012, after the death of Ronnie James Dio, Freeman joined the original members of Dio as a vocalist to form the band Last in Line, a supergroup featuring Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard, Whitesnake), Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath) and Jimmy Bain (Rainbow). Last In Line released their first album, Heavy Crown in 2016 and reached number 1 on Billboard’s "Heat Seeker" chart. [4]
In early 2013, Freeman joined the show Raiding the Rock Vault in Las Vegas, where he performed six shows a week with other rock musicians. [5] In late October 2018, he left Raiding the Rock Vault after performing over 1,000 shows.
Freeman has performed on three tours as the lead vocalist with Dokken and Lynch Mob guitarist George Lynch, including a feature on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno , [6] and a headline show at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. [7]
In 2018, Freeman started performing as the vocalist for Lies, Deceit & Treachery with Jimmy D'Anda, Mick Sweda, and Lonnie Vencent, all of whom are formerly of Bullet Boys. He also formed a band called "Devil's Hand" with guitarist Mike Slamer, and in December of the same year, they released a self-titled album.
Freeman has also worked as a voice-over actor for Nickelodeon, and performed bit parts and audio post-production for the shows KaBlam! and Doug . He has also done various commercials for radio, television, film, and as a music producer and audio engineer.
During July–October 2021, Freeman filled in for Firehouse vocalist, CJ Snare, as Snare recovered from abdominal surgery. [8] [9]
On May 31, 2022, Freeman was officially announced as the lead vocalist for Great White, replacing Mitch Malloy. [10] On October 21, 2022, Great White announced that Brett Carlisle was their new singer, due to Freeman's commitments with Last In Line. [11]
Dokken is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. It split up in 1989 and reformed four years later. The band has had several hit singles which charted on the Billboard Hot 100, such as "Alone Again", "In My Dreams", and "Burning Like a Flame", and has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. The live album Beast from the East was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1989.
Dio was an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 and led by vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Dio left Black Sabbath with intentions to form a new band with fellow former Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice. The name Dio was chosen because it made sense from a commercial standpoint, as the name was already well known at that time.
Great White is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977. The band peaked with several albums during the mid-to-late 1980s, including the platinum-selling records Once Bitten (1987) and ...Twice Shy (1989), and those albums' singles "Rock Me" and "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" received considerable airplay through radio and MTV. George Lynch is an American guitarist, best known for his work with the hard rock/heavy metal band Dokken and his post-Dokken solo band Lynch Mob. He is considered one of the most famous and influential 1980s metal guitarists and is known for his unique playing style and sound. He is ranked No. 47 on "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" by Guitar World magazine and No. 10 on "Top 10 Metal Guitarists of All Time" by Gibson.
Drowning Pool is an American rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1996. The band was named after the 1975 film The Drowning Pool. Since its formation, the band has consisted of guitarist C.J. Pierce, bassist Stevie Benton, and drummer Mike Luce, as well as a revolving cast of vocalists.

James Stewart Bain was a Scottish musician, best known for playing bass guitar in the bands Rainbow and Dio. He also worked with Kate Bush and Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott, co-writing on his solo albums.

Benedictum is an American heavy metal band formed in 2005 in San Diego, California that now resides in Phoenix, Arizona. Their current lineup consists of vocalist Veronica Freeman, guitarist Pete Wells, bassist Aric Avina, and drummer Rikard Stjernquist. Robertson also played guitar for AM Radio, Dio, Vast, and Violet's Demise. Robertson has also done work as a film composer for director Amber Moelter's Dirty Step Upstage and has filmed numerous instructional guitar videos.
Nevermore was an American heavy metal band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1991. The band has been inactive since 2011, due to personal issues between the band members. Vocalist Warrel Dane died in December 2017, ending hopes of a reunion.
Last in Line is a British rock band formed in 2012 by former members of Dio's original lineup. Their name comes from the 1984 Dio album, The Last in Line. Following the death of frontman Ronnie James Dio in 2010, drummer Vinny Appice, bassist Jimmy Bain, guitarist Vivian Campbell and keyboardist Claude Schnell reunited and added vocalist Andrew Freeman to perform the Dio songs they originally recorded. They released three studio albums of original material without Schnell between February 2016 and March 2023.
