Anette Sofie Olsen (born 24 September 1956) is a Norwegian businesswoman.

She holds siv.øk. and Master of Business Administration degrees. [1] She is the sole proprietor of the shipping conglomerate Fred. Olsen & Co. and through this the controlling owner and chief executive officer of the public listed companies Bonheur and Ganger Rolf. She is also chairperson of the board of several other Fred. Olsen companies, including Norges Handels og Sjøfartstidende.

Anette Olsen is daughter of Fred. Olsen who is chairman of Bonheur and Ganger Rolf. Anette Olsen became partner of Fred. Olsen & Co. in 1993, which she has inherited from her father.

All investments were made 50/50 with Bonheur. Bonheur is in turn controlled by Fred. Olsen & Co., a company wholly owned by Anette S. Olsen. Ganger Rolf owned 19.51% of Bonheur.

Fred. Olsen Express is an inter-island ferry service based in the Canary Islands, Spain. It operates a fleet of six modern fast ferries on five routes. Its fleet includes a trimaran fast ferry, the Benchijigua Express, which was the first such vehicle in the world when it entered service in 2005. MV <i>Balmoral</i> (2008) 2008 cruise ship

Balmoral is a cruise ship owned and operated by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. She was built in 1988 by the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, West Germany, as Crown Odyssey for Royal Cruise Line. She has also sailed for the Norwegian Cruise Line as Norwegian Crown and Orient Lines as Crown Odyssey. In 2007–2008 she was lengthened by 30 m (98 ft) at the Blohm + Voss shipyard in Hamburg prior to entering service with her current operator.

Thomas Fredrik Olsen (1897–1969) was a Norwegian ship-owner. Son of Fredrik Olsen and born in Hvitsten, he worked in the family company Fred. Olsen & Co. from 1920. He held a board position in a range of companies, including Det Norske Luftfartselskap and Scandinavian Airlines System. He is the father of shipping magnate Fred. Olsen.

Aban Pearl

The Aban Pearl was a twin-hull, column-stabilized, semi-submersible offshore drilling rig owned and operated by Aban Offshore drilling company. It is registered in Singapore. In 2009, the Aban Pearl became the first offshore gas rig operated by the Venezuela's state-owned oil company PDVSA. In May 2010, the rig sank into the sea though all workers aboard at the time were saved.

Comarit was a Moroccan ferry operator. Comarit operated a freight and passenger ferry service between Morocco and Spain, France and Italy from 1984 to 2012. It was based in Tangier, one of the main points of departure for its ferries. The company suspended operations in January 2012.
