Annie Ward Mobley is a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives,representing the 5th district since her appointment in January 2007.
The North Carolina General Assembly of 2001–2002 met during 2001 and 2002 in the State capital of Raleigh,North Carolina. Members of the 2001–2002 House and Senate were elected on November 7,2000. This session of the General Assembly was the last in which some house and senate districts elected multiple representatives to the state legislature.
Howard J. Hunter Jr. was a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's fifth House district,including constituents in Bertie,Gates,Hertford and Perquimans counties. A funeral director from Ahoskie,North Carolina,Hunter served nine full terms in the state House of Representatives. After being elected to a tenth term in November 2006,Hunter died on January 7,2007,before the new legislature convened. He was born in Washington,D.C.

Parmon also served as Forsyth County,North Carolina commissioner. Parmon died on March 15,2016.
