Another Magazine, styled AnOther, is an international fashion and culture bi-annual. [1]

Contents

Founded in 2001, its Editor-in-Chief is Susannah Frankel, [2] who joined in January 2016. Frankel had been Fashion Features Director of the magazine since its launch and a regular contributor to Dazed & Confused since 1998.

Issues

In 2015 AnOther Magazine was the first magazine to have a high definition LED moving cover. [3]

In 2016, to celebrate its 15th anniversary AnOther Magazine commissioned holographer and artist Rob Munday [4] to create 1000 limited edition hand-made 3D covers of Karl Lagerfeld. [5]

L'Officiel, full name L'Officiel de la couture et de la mode de Paris, is a French monthly fashion magazine. It has been published in Paris since 1921 and targets upper-income, educated women aged from 25 to 49. A men's edition called L'Officiel Hommes is also published, as are many foreign editions of the magazine. In 2022, it was acquired by AMTD a Hong Kong based company.

Edward Kobina Enninful is a Ghanaian-born British editor and stylist who was the editor-in-chief of British Vogue and the European editorial director of Condé Nast. He was appointed fashion director of the British fashion magazine i-D at the age of 18, a position he held for more than two decades. He subsequently held the positions of contributing fashion editor at Vogue Italia and American Vogue, as well as creative fashion director at W magazine. Enninful was appointed editor-in-chief of British Vogue in 2017 but stepped down after a short tenure in 2023.

Susannah Frankel is a British fashion journalist and writer who, since the 1980s, has worked with a number of newspapers and publications. She was the leading journalist chosen by the Fashion Museum, Bath, to choose the defining Dress of the Year of 1999. Since 2001, she has also written and co-written a number of books on fashion designers.

Chanel is a privately held French company founded in 1909 by Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, a former milliner. The Chanel ready-to-wear collection is showcased biannually for spring-summer and autumn-winter seasons during Paris Fashion Week to an audience of media, retailers, buyers, investors, and customers, under the auspices of the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode, which is one of three trade associations affiliated with the Fédération française de la couture, du prêt-à-porter des couturiers et des créateurs de mode. The House of Chanel is known for liberating women from the corset in the early 20th century and designing fluid, jersey pieces, most notably the little black dress. The little black dress was created to showcase the elegance and body silhouette. It was created in 1926 and debuted by Coco Chanel. Due to the shortages on fabric and materials because of the Great Depression the little black dress became a staple in every women’s closet because of how easy it was to save money and not break the bank to look great! Chanel died in 1971, Karl Lagerfeld served as Creative Director from 1983 until his death in 2019. Virginie Viard, Karl Lagerfeld's longtime collaborator for more than three decades, succeeded him as Creative Director. Viard has a background in costume design and presented her first solo collection in May 2019 for Chanel's Cruise 2020 Collection.
