Ate de Jong (born 1953) is a Dutch film and television director, film producer, and screenwriter. He is best known as the producer of The Discovery of Heaven (2001), nominated for a Golden Calf award, and Het Bombardement (2012). [1]

His non-traditional films reveal an engineered penchant for melodrama, love songs, and silent movies; their central topic is homosexuality. Towards the end of the 2000s, he started organizing concerts en images, events in which he combines silent films, some segments shot by himself for the occasions, with live classical music, and sometimes singing and acting.
Gorki was a Belgian rock group, in its most recent line-up consisting of Luc De Vos, Luc Heyvaerts, Erik Van Biesen, Thomas Vanelslander (guitarist) and Bert Huysentruyt (drums). Three songs by Gorki were number one hits in the Studio Brussel alternative hitlist De Afrekening in Belgium: 'Lieve kleine piranha', 'Schaduw in de schemering and 'Joerie' in 2006. His entire existence as an artist, Vestdijk later wrote Theun de Vries, originates in his "Ina Damman experience".

The Energiehal was an events hall built in a park in west Rotterdam in 1955, for the E55 exhibition. It was then relocated to the Blijdorp district in north Rotterdam, being used for decades as a sports hall and for other events. Big Brother 2024 is the fourth cooperation season of the Dutch and Belgian version of Big Brother. It is the tenth regular version of Big Brother in both Belgium and the Netherlands. In addition, it was an anniversary edition, as it was 25 years since the very first ever version of Big Brother aired in 1999 in the Netherlands. The show is broadcast on RTL5 in the Netherlands and Play4 in Belgium beginning on 15 January 2024. Live streams are available 24/7 on Videoland for Dutch viewers and on GoPlay.be and Telenet for Belgian viewers.
