Atlantic City Fashion Week (ACFW), is a semiannual fashion event held in both the spring and fall seasons.

Contents

The event features activities that include fashion shows, seminars, celebrity appearances, retail events, networking opportunities and industry parties. [1] Atlantic City Fashion Week features an eclectic group of designers, national retailers, boutiques and novice design students. Designers from England, Hungary, Russia, Australia, Haiti, Trinidad, Senegal, the Dominican Republic and all parts of the United States have showcased their collections at our runway event. Retailers have included Michael Kors, Tommy Bahama, OshKosh B'Gosh, Invicta, Brooks Brothers, Tiffany's and Abercrombie and Fitch. [2] Atlantic City Fashion Week has also been a showcase for designers from the hit television series Project Runway . [3] Those designers have included Dom Streater, Helen Castillo and Lantie Foster, as well as Philadelphia's men's designer LeGrand Leseur. [1] [4] Atlantic City Fashion Week has held its events at a variety of venues on the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk including "The Pier Shops at Caesars" (now "Playground Pier"), Bally's Atlantic City, and the Claridge Hotel. [4]

History

Atlantic City Fashion Week was Founded in 2011, by Lamont and Jeana Bowling, the founders of fashionSTYLE Magazine and KingBee Media LLC. [5] [6] In 2022 the event celebrated its 10th anniversary. [7]

ACX1 Studios is a four-story 550,000-square-foot multi-use facility on a beach pier on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The pier has hosted a variety of attractions and shopping experiences since it was first built in the early twentieth century. The pier is expected to reopen as a film production studio, music incubator, and entertainment venue in 2024 to host film shoots attracted to the robust South Jersey-specific film tax credits.

Serbia Fashion Week is a fashion show held twice a year in Novi Sad, Serbia. Angela DeMontigny is a native Canadian fashion designer of Cree-Métis heritage. She is known for her use of leather and suede in her clothing and handbags, as well as cultural motifs from her background including fringe, beadwork and cutwork in a style she describes as "indigenous luxury."

Next in Fashion (NIF) is a reality show and fashion design competition series hosted by fashion designer Tan France and model Gigi Hadid. It follows designers from around the world as they compete for the chance to win $200,000 and debut a collection on luxury fashion retailer site Net-a-Porter.

Kansas City Fashion Week (KCFW), is an annual two week fashion event that showcases emerging local designers as well as established designers. The event typically includes kick-off parties, in-store shopping and runway shows.

Delray Beach Fashion Week, is fashion week event held annually in downtown Delray Beach by the local Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority. The event showcases creations by local designers. The event 5 day event has run since 2012, celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2022. The city-sponsored event typically includes runway shows, a trunk show and reflects the city's entertainment scene.
