Axl Osborne (born December 31, 1995) [1] is an acrobatic gymnast. He currently competes as the base in a mixed pair with his partner Tiffani Williams. With partner Tiffani Williams, Osbourne came 2nd at the 2016 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships. [2] He previously competed as the base in a Level 9 mixed pair with his partner, acrobatic gymnast Lydia Webb. [3]

The pair train together at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy [4] (WOGA) in north Texas, which produced 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics team gold medalist and uneven bars silver medallist Madison Kocian, 2008 Beijing Olympics women’s all-around gymnastics champion Nastia Liukin and 2004 Athens Olympics champion Carly Patterson.

Before Osborne’s partnership with Webb, he and male acrobatic gymnast Dylan Inserra trained together at WOGA and competed as an elite men’s pair for several years.

In November 2008, Inserra and Osborne qualified for elite status during a competition at the Karolyi Ranch in New Waverly, Texas. [5]

Osborne and Inserra won the men’s pair senior national title at both the 2009 Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships in Dallas, Texas and at the 2010 championships in Kissimmee, Florida, where the pair won both the dynamic and the balance events. [6]

They were two-time members of the U.S. senior national team. [7]

Internationally, the pair competed at the 2010 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in Wroclaw, Poland, where they placed seventh. [8] and at the 2010 Volkov Cup in Novgorod, Russia, where they placed fourth. [9]

Osborne and Inserra disbanded after the 2010 season, and Osborne began training in a mixed pair with WOGA acrobatic gymnast Webb.

At the 2011 Acro Cup in Huntsville, Texas, Osborne and Webb placed second all-around in the age group 11-16. [10]

In June 2011, the pair qualified to the 2011 National Championships in San Jose, California, [11] on July 22–27, where they won the gold medal for mixed pair 16 and under. [12] Osborne and Webb were also named to the Acrobatic Gymnastics Development Team "B" by USA Gymnastics. [13]

World Olympic Gymnastics Academy

The World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) is a two-facility gymnastics club located in Plano and Frisco. Since its inception, WOGA has garnered a strong reputation for consistently contributing top notch gymnasts to the U.S. Junior and Senior National Teams. WOGA trained gymnasts have a long and established history of competing in and winning at the highest level of competition, with several former National Champions, World Champions, and Olympic Champions amongst their past and present students.

Acrobatic gymnastics is a competitive gymnastic discipline where partnerships of gymnasts work together and perform figures consisting of acrobatic moves, dance and tumbling, set to music. There are three types of routines; a 'balance' routine where the focus is on strength, poise and flexibility; a 'dynamic' routine which includes throws, somersaults and catches, and a 'combined' routine which includes elements from both balance and dynamic.

Christine (Christina) Van Loo is an American aerialist and acrobat, and former champion acrobatic gymnast. She is a 7-time National Champion, She was named the 1988 Olympic Female Athlete of the Year for Sports Acrobatics and named the Athlete of the Decade for the 1980s by the U.S. Sports Acrobatics Federation. She was inducted into the USSA (acro-gymnastics) Hall of Fame and the World Acrobatics Society Gallery of Honor.

Mattie Larson American gymnast

Mattie Larson is an American former artistic gymnast. She competed at the senior elite level from 2008 to 2010. Larson was the 2010 U.S. national champion on floor exercise. At that year's World Championships, she won a silver medal with the U.S. in the team competition. Larson then competed at UCLA from 2012 to 2014.

Kristin Allen American acrobatic gymnast

Kristin Allen is a Hall of Fame American acrobatic gymnast. Kristin and her partner Michael Rodrigues made history by becoming the first American mixed pair to win a gold medal from the World Games in 2009 and the second American pair to win the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in 2010. Domestically, the pair have won national titles in 2008 and 2010. She competed for the United States of America Gymnastics from 2001 until her retirement in August 2010 and spent five of those years on the Senior National Team.

Dylan Michael Inserra is a retired acrobatic gymnast, coach and rugby union player.

Michael Rodrigues is a retired elite acrobatic gymnast who now performs in the Cirque du Soleil show Viva ELVIS in Las Vegas, Nevada, along with his former mixed-pairs partner, retired elite acrobatic gymnast Kristin Allen.

Clare Brunson is a retired elite acrobatic gymnast who competed as the top in a mixed-pair team with elite acrobatic gymnast Michael Rodrigues, also now retired.

Madison Kocian American artistic gymnast

Madison Taylor Kocian is an American artistic gymnast. On the uneven bars, she is one of four 2015 world champions and the 2016 Olympic silver medalist. She was part of the gold medal-winning team dubbed the "Final Five" at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and was a member of the first-place American teams at the 2014 and 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. As of 2016, she has been attending the University of California, Los Angeles, where she is a member of its NCAA women's gymnastics team.

Kennedy Baker is a retired American collegiate and artistic gymnast. She competed as an elite gymnast from 2009 through 2013 and has since retired. She had competed in collegiate gymnastics for the Florida Gators.

Kiley Boynton American acrobatic gymnast

Kiley Boynton is an American female acrobatic gymnast. With Ryan Ward, she was awarded the bronze medal in the 2014 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships.

Elena Arenas is an American artistic gymnast. She qualified to Junior International Elite in 2014 and competed during the 2014 and 2015 Elite seasons.
