Ayoola Ogundeyi Jr. (born 9 August 1989), [2] better known as Ayo Jay, is an English-born Nigerian singer. He currently has a record deal with One Nation and RCA, and is also known as Boy Wonder. [3]

Early life

Ayo Jay discovered his abilities for singing and songwriting at a young age. After graduating from International School, Lagos (ISL) in 2006, Ayo Jay relocated to the United States to pursue a college degree in finance and investment from Baruch College. [4]

Career

In 2013, Ayo Jay signed a recording deal with One Nation Records and released "Your Number" on 21 June 2013. [5] The music video for "Your Number" was shot in Atlanta. [6] The song's remix features rap vocals by Fetty Wap and was released on 16 July 2015. [7] "Your Number" was re-released by RCA Records following Ayo Jay's record deal with the label. [8] [9] On 28 February 2017, the song was certified gold by the RIAA. [10] On 23 August 2016, RCA Records released another remix, featuring Chris Brown and Kid Ink. [11]

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. A prominent figure in the modern-day Afrobeats music scene, Wizkid is regarded as one of the biggest and most influential African artists of all time. He began recording music at the age of 11 and released a collaborative album with the Glorious Five (5), a group he and a couple of his church friends formed. In 2009, Wizkid signed a record deal with Banky W's Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E). He later rose to the limelight after releasing "Holla at Your Boy", the lead single from his debut studio album, Superstar (2011), which also spawned the singles "Tease Me/Bad Guys" and "Don't Dull".

The discography of Wizkid, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, consists of five studio albums, one EP, fifty-three singles, forty-four promotional singles, sixteen guest appearances, six cameo appearances and thirty-three music videos. Wizkid started his music career at age 11, releasing a seven-track collaborative album with Glorious Five entitled Lil Prinz. Wizkid garnered notoriety when he collaborated with Naeto C, Ikechukwu, M.I and Kel. He signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment in 2009. From 2009 through 2011, Wizkid worked on materials for his debut album Superstar (2011). Superstar was supported by the singles "Love My Baby", "Pakurumo", "Tease Me/Bad Guys", "Don't Dull" and "Holla at Your Boy".

David Adedeji Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, is an American-born Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. Born in Atlanta, US, and raised in Lagos, he made his music debut as a member of the music group KB International. Davido studied business administration at Oakwood University before dropping out to make beats and record vocal references. He rose to fame after releasing "Dami Duro", the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo (2012), from which six additional singles—"Back When", "Ekuro", "Overseas", "All of You", "Gbon Gbon", and "Feel Alright"—were taken. In 2012, Davido won the Next Rated award at The Headies. Between 2013 and 2015, he released the hit singles "Gobe", "One of a Kind", "Skelewu", "Aye", "Tchelete (Goodlife)", "Naughty", "Owo Ni Koko", "The Sound" and "The Money".

The 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards took place on 31 August 2014, at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The eligibility period was from March 2013 to March 2014. In April 2014, the NEA reviewing committee began collecting submissions for the 2014 edition. The deadline for submission was April 30, 2014, and the nominations were announced on May 29, 2014. Tiwa Savage and Davido received the most nominations with 5 each. Don Jazzy, Flavour N'abania and Wizkid all got four nominations each, while Olamide, Patoranking, Chidinma and Oritse Femi followed closely with three nominations.

Willie Junior Maxwell II, better known by his stage name Fetty Wap, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He rose to prominence after his debut single "Trap Queen" reached number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in May 2015. This helped Fetty Wap secure a record deal with 300 Entertainment. The single was followed up with two top 10 hits in the U.S., "679" and "My Way". All three songs were featured on Fetty Wap's eponymous debut album, released in September 2015, which peaked atop the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Oluseye Desmond Sodamola, professionally known as Spinall, is a Nigerian disc jockey, record producer, songwriter, label executive, and media personality. He first gained prominence in 2004, while working as a radio DJ at Raypower 100.5 FM, Spinall studied at Tenstrings Music Institute. He later joined Industry Nite where he promoted underground talents at the weekly platform. He was the official DJ to Wande Coal while he was affiliated with Mavin Records. He created a style edge to his outfit known as TheCAP, tracing his roots back to his culture. TheCAP, which fans tags as "TheCrazyAzzParty" has since then been his brand power and identity. Fetty Wap is the debut studio album by American rapper Fetty Wap. It was released on September 25, 2015, by RGF Productions and 300 Entertainment. Both Monty and M80, who were members of the Remy Boyz, contributed as featured guest artists on the album.

Ayodele Basil, better known as Del B, is a Nigerian (composer) sound engineer, record producer. and songwriter. He is best known for producing Kcee's hit single "Limpopo", which went on to be voted Song of The Year at the 2013 edition of The Headies. Paul Cole Chiori is a Nigerian media entrepreneur and music executive. He is the founder of Achievas Entertainment. He is also an UN Peace Ambassador.

"Your Number" is a song by Nigerian singer Ayo Jay, first released on June 21, 2013 by One Nation and re-released on November 11, 2015 by RCA Records. The song was produced by British record producer Melvitto. According to Raro Lae, "Your Number" is the first ever Nigerian song to sit on any Billboard chart without any features. On February 28, 2017, "Your Number" was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
