B-15 Project are a UK garage duo, originally consisting of members Angus Campbell and Ian Wallman. They are best known for the hit song "Girls Like Us" which peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart in June 2000. [1] DJ/producer Danny Wynn worked with the group from 2007.

Atomic Kitten is a British pop girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998, whose current members are Liz McClarnon, Jenny Frost and Natasha Hamilton. The group was founded by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) members Andy McCluskey and Stuart Kershaw, who served as principal songwriters during Atomic Kitten's early years. The group's debut album Right Now was released in October 2000 and charted at number 39 in the United Kingdom. After five top ten singles, original member Kerry Katona quit – four weeks before "Whole Again" reached number one in the UK Singles Chart – and was replaced by former Precious singer Jenny Frost. "Whole Again" became the group's most successful single, staying at number one for four weeks in the UK and six weeks in Germany, and reaching number one in many other territories; in Britain, it was the 13th best-selling single of the 2000s. The group re-released their debut album, with some tracks re-recorded with Frost's vocals: it peaked at number one in the UK and was certified double platinum after selling over 600,000 copies.

Bloodshy & Avant Duo of songwriters and producers

Bloodshy & Avant are a Swedish songwriting and production duo consisting of Christian "Bloodshy" Karlsson and Pontus "Avant" Winnberg. They have worked with many prominent artists, including Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Ms. Dynamite, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Kelis, Girls' Generation, Christina Milian, Sky Ferreira, Hikaru Utada and BoA. DJ EZ is a UK garage DJ from Tottenham, North London. He was one of the earliest proponents of UK garage music, hosting a long-running Kiss 100 radio show and mixing the Pure Garage series of compilations.

Sadie Ama is an English R&B singer who grew up in Kilburn, London. She is best known for featuring on the Tom Zanetti track "You Want Me", which peaked at number #22 on the UK Singles Chart. Sadie stated in 2005 that Aaliyah and her sister Shola Ama were both her inspirations.

Xscape (group) American R&B group

Xscape is an American female R&B group from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1991 by Kandi Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, LaTocha Scott, Tamera Coggins-Wynn, and Tamika Scott. The following year Coggins-Wynn left the group and Xscape became a quartet. They were discovered by Jermaine Dupri who signed the group to his So So Def label. The group released their debut album Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha in 1993, which spawned two of their biggest hits "Just Kickin' It" and "Understanding". The album was certified Platinum on February 1, 1994. Xscape has sold more than 7 million records worldwide.

G-A-Y was a 40-track compilation album which was released by London Records in the UK on Monday 3 July 2000. The album featured songs by 40 different artists who had appeared at London club G-A-Y, and was released on CD and cassette.

UK garage, abbreviated as UKG, is a genre of electronic dance music which originated in England in the early to mid-1990s. The genre was most clearly inspired by garage house, but also incorporates elements from R&B, jungle and dance-pop. It is defined by percussive, shuffled rhythms with syncopated hi-hats, cymbals and snares, and may include either 4/4 house kick patterns or more irregular "2-step" rhythms. Garage tracks also commonly feature 'chopped up' and time-stretched or pitch-shifted vocal samples complementing the underlying rhythmic structure at a tempo usually around 130 BPM.

"Taboo" is a song by British dancehall musician Glamma Kid featuring Shola Ama. It was released on 5 April 1999 as the third single from the debut album Kidology. A top 10 hit, the song peaked at No. 10 on the UK Singles Chart, and No. 1 on the UK Dance Chart. The song also charted in the Netherlands and New Zealand, peaking at numbers 26 and 22, respectively. In Return is the second studio album by British singer Shola Ama. It was released by Freakstreet and WEA on 8 November 1999 in the United Kingdom. The project saw Ama working with several producers, including Fred Jerkins III, Stargate, Shaun Labelle, Soulshock and Karlin, D'Influence and Ali Shaheed Muhammad. Co-writers included Angie Stone, Babyface, and David Foster. Two singles were released from the album: "Still Believe" and "Imagine", both reaching the top thirty of the UK Singles Chart.
