BNP Paribas Real Estate, formerly Atisreal, is a European commercial property consultancy company and subsidiary of BNP Paribas with around 2,600 employees in 51 cities. Its headquarters were in Levallois-Perret, France. In June 2009 the Atisreal brand was dropped and the BNP Paribas Real Estate brand replaced it.

History

Atisreal was formed in 2003 [1] when the Vendome Rome Group acquired three leading European surveying firms: Auguste-Thouard in France, Müller in Germany and Weatherall Green & Smith in the UK. In 2006, Atisreal became a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Real Estate; a division of the leading French financial services group BNP Paribas. In Summer 2009, the company changed its name to BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory and Property Management Ltd

BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is the global investment banking arm of BNP Paribas, the largest banking group in the world. In October 2010, BNP Paribas was ranked by Bloomberg and Forbes as the largest bank and largest company in the world by assets with over US$3.1 trillion. BNP Paribas CIB's main centres are in Paris and London, with large scale operations in New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and smaller operations in almost every financial centre in the world. SBI Life has an authorized capital of 20 billion (US$250 million) and a paid up capital of 10 billion (US$130 million).

DAB BNP Paribas is a brand of the German branch of the French major bank BNP Paribas with business premises in Munich. The BNP Paribas brand for independent asset managers, fund brokers, investment advisers and institutional clients was founded on 18 January 1994 as the first discount broker in Germany, trading under Direkt Anlage- und Vermögensverwaltungs-GmbH, and started operations in May 1994 as Direkt Anlage Bank GmbH (DAB). As of 1 January 2016, the operating private customer business was transferred to the BNP Paribas S.A. branch Germany. On 12/13 November 2016, the DAB bank's online portal was shut down and all private customers transferred to Consorsbank.
