Bardfield End Green is a hamlet in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England approximately one mile east of Thaxted. It is the home of Thaxted cricket club.

Little Bardfield is a small scattered village on the southwest side of the vale of the River Pant. A minor road runs through the village and connects Thaxted 3 miles (5 km) to the west, to Great Bardfield 1 mile (1.6 km) to the east. The parish comprises the village of Little Bardfield and two hamlets: Hawkspur Green and Oxen End, which are all surrounded by farmland.

Debden Green is a hamlet in the civil parish of Debden, in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England and 2 miles (3 km) west from the town of Thaxted. It is centred around a crossroads on the main Debden to Thaxted road where the road from Henham and Hamperden End intersects at a point known as Debden Cross. A byway or green lane, called Pepples Lane, connects Debden Cross with Wimbish, 3 miles (5 km) to the north.
