Black capuchin species of mammal

The black capuchin,, also known as the black-horned capuchin, is a capuchin monkey from the Atlantic Forest in south-eastern Brazil and far north-eastern Argentina. Historically, it was included as a subspecies of the tufted capuchin.

The bulldog goodeid is a species of goodeid. It is endemic to stagnant and slow-flowing waters in the Lerma–Chapala, Presa de San Juanico and Balsas basins in west-central and southwestern Mexico. Despite its relatively wide range, it is generally uncommon. This is possibly the most predatory goodeid, it feeding on other fish, crayfish, insects and other invertebrates. At up to at least 14.3 cm (5.6 in) in standard length, this is likely the second-largest goodeid, after Goodea atripinnis.

Common wallaroo species of mammal

The common wallaroo or wallaroo, also known as euro or hill wallaroo is a species of macropod. The word euro is particularly applied to one subspecies.

Robust yellow bat species of mammal

The robust yellow bat is a species of vesper bat. It is found only in Madagascar.

Hairy frog species of amphibian

The hairy frog is also known as the horror frog or Wolverine frog. It is a Central African species of frog in the family Arthroleptidae. It is monotypic within the genus Trichobatrachus. Its common name refers to the somewhat hair-like structures on the body and thighs of the breeding male.

Callulops robustus species of amphibian

Callulops robustus is a species of frog in the family Microhylidae. It has traditionally been considered as wide-ranging species found in both Western New Guinea (Indonesia) and Papua New Guinea. However, it is likely that specimens from the type locality, Misima Island, and New Guinea represent different species. If so, name Callulops robustus belongs to the Misima Island species, and the mainland species is unnamed. Other island populations may or may not belong to Callulops robustus. Callulops microtis from the mainland has already been removed from synonymy with Callulops robustus.

Nothobranchius robustus, the red Victoria nothobranch, is a species of killifish in the family) Nothobranchiidae. It is found in the Lake Victoria basin, the Lake Albert basin, the Sio River and near Ahero in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are rivers, intermittent rivers, swamps, and intermittent freshwater marshes. This species was described in 1935 by Ernst Ahl from types collected in northwestern Tanzania.

The robust pipehorse is a species of fish in the family Syngnathidae. It is endemic to southern Australia.

Robust cottontail species of mammal

The robust cottontail or Davis Mountains cottontail is a species of cottontail rabbit endemic to four mountain ranges in the southwestern United States and adjacent Mexico. It was long considered to be a subspecies of the eastern cottontail, but has recently been promoted to species level due to morphological analysis. Genetic data have confirmed the uniqueness of S. robustus. S. robustus and the subspecies of S. floridanus are distinguished primarily by size, dental, and cranial differences. These rabbits typically average a total length of 42 cm, and weigh between 1.3 and 1.8 kg. This species is restricted to dry, brushy, mountains at elevations above 1500 meters. Despite its rarity, currently no governmental agency provides protection or listing for this species.

Clinus robustus species of fish

Clinus robustus, the Robust klipfish, is a species of clinid that occurs in subtropical waters of the Atlantic Ocean around South Africa where it can be found in the subtidal zone in areas with plentiful seaweed growth. This species can reach a maximum length of 50 centimetres (20 in) TL.

Bassozetus is a genus of cusk-eels found in Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Ocean.

The Mexican rivulus is a species of killifish from the family Rivulidae which is endemic to Mexico where it is found in the Papaloapan and Coatzacoalcos River basins. This annual killifish grows to a total length of 4 cm (1.6 in). It is the only known species in its genus, but its exact taxonomic position remains uncertain, as it has not been included in any phylogenetic study. This species was described by Robert Rush Miller and Carl Leavitt Hubbs as Rivulus robustus in 1974, it was reclassified in the monotypic genus Millerichthys in 1995, the generic name honouring Robert Rush Miller.
