Bensonhurst Maternity Hospital [1] [2] was built in the mid 1920s [3] [2] "across Bay Parkway from JCH" [4] (Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst). It had its share of families with fathers who "paced ... and nervously smoked one cigarette after another" [5] and families with sad news. [6]

As of 2016, the building houses a Jewish School. [7] [8]
