Big Fish: Music from the Motion Picture is the thirty-fifth soundtrack album by American music composer Danny Elfman. It was released on December 23, 2003, by Sony Classical to promote the 2003 American fantasy comedy-drama film Big Fish .
The album was nominated for the Academy Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score.
Daniel Robert Elfman is an American film composer, singer and songwriter. He came to prominence as the singer-songwriter for the new wave band Oingo Boingo in the early 1980s. Since the 1990s, Elfman has garnered international recognition for composing over 100 feature film scores, as well as compositions for television, stage productions, and the concert hall.
Big Fish is a 2003 American fantasy comedy-drama film directed by Tim Burton, and based on the 1998 novel of the same name by Daniel Wallace. The film stars Ewan McGregor, Albert Finney, Billy Crudup, Jessica Lange, Helena Bonham Carter, Alison Lohman, Robert Guillaume, Marion Cotillard, Steve Buscemi, and Danny DeVito. The film tells the story of a frustrated son who tries to distinguish fact from fiction in his dying father's life.
Music from and Inspired by Spider-Man 2 is the soundtrack album for the 2004 film Spider-Man 2. As a whole, the album reached the top 10 of the U.S. album charts and the top 40 of the Australian album charts. "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional reached the top of a world composite soundtrack chart in June 2004 and the top 20 of a composite world and U.S. modern rock chart. "We Are" by Ana Johnsson was a major success in Europe, charting in almost every European country. "Ordinary" by Train was on the U.S. adult top 40 singles charts. "I Am" by Killing Heidi was added to the Australian version of the soundtrack and released as a single in the country. It debuted and peaked at #16 on the ARIA Charts on July 19, 2004.

Although it contains a portion of the film score by Danny Elfman, a more complete album of Elfman's work was released as Spider-Man: Original Motion Picture Score. "All in the Suit That You Wear" by the group Stone Temple Pilots was pulled out at the last minute when they could not get it as the lead track.
Batman Returns: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the score album for the 1992 film Batman Returns by Danny Elfman. The soundtrack also includes "Face to Face", a song written by the band Siouxsie and the Banshees and Elfman, that was used to promote the movie. Two versions of the music video were made, and a club version, remixed by 808 State, was released. Elfman added chorus to the main theme making it similar but not as dark as the original.
Batman: Original Motion Picture Score is the score album for the 1989 film Batman by Danny Elfman. According to the Batman DVD Special Edition, Elfman said that producer Jon Peters was not sure about him as a composer until Tim Burton made him play the main titles. Elfman admitted he was stunned when Peters announced that the score would be released on its own album. The score was widely acclaimed by the press and in many contemporary reviews is cited as the highlight of the film.

The soundtrack was mastered by Greg Fulginiti and features various artists whose tracks were included in the movie plus some other tracks not included in the movie but are similar in electronic style. The instrumental title tune, "Axel F" by Harold Faltermeyer, became a worldwide hit single and has since been covered by numerous artists.

It was released on November 10, 2017, by WaterTower Music, while the physical edition was released on December 8 by WaterTower. The soundtrack was released by Relativity Music Group on March 3, 2014. Peter Andre wrote and performed for the film a song titled "Kid", which is played during the British version of the end credits, instead of Grizfolk's "Way Back When". But unlike the latter, the former was not included in the soundtrack.
