Bishop's Wood

Bishop's Wood (Welsh: Coed yr Esgob) is a nature reserve in the Gower Peninsula, south Wales.

The area consists of 46 acres (19 hectares) of limestone woodland and grassland. Part of the wood is classified as ancient woodland. The 1673 survey of Bishopston Manor indicates that it has been wooded since at least the seventeenth century.

It was designated a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) in 1975, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in 2003 and Special Area of Conservation (SAC) in 2004.

Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood South is a 192.5 hectares is a biological site of Special Scientific Interest near Cheshunt in Hertfordshire. It is part of Broxbourne Woods National Nature Reserve, and is listed in A Nature Conservation Review. Wormley Wood is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust. The site is also a Special Area of Conservation.

Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood North is a 143.9-hectare (356-acre) woodland area in Hertfordshire which has been designated as a biological site of Special Scientific Interest. It is in Hoddesdon in the borough of Broxbourne, but part of the site is in East Hertfordshire.

Great Wood and Dodd's Grove is a 36.8-hectare (91-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex. It is also a Local Nature Reserve called Belfairs. Essex Wildlife Trust runs the Belfairs Woodland Centre and manages the site together with Southend-on-Sea City Council.
