Dumont is a borough in Bergen County,in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census,the borough's population was 17,863,an increase of 384 (+2.2%) from the 2010 census count of 17,479,which in turn reflected a decrease of 24 (−0.1%) from the 17,503 counted in the 2000 census.
South Plainfield is a borough in northern Middlesex County,in the U.S. state of New Jersey. A member of the Oklahoma Legislature,he went on to become both the 18th and 23rd governor of Oklahoma,mainly in the 1960s and again in the 1980s,as well as a two-term United States Senator in the 1970s. He was the first Republican to serve as Governor of Oklahoma and,after his direct predecessor George Nigh,only the second governor to be reelected.
Dewey Follett Bartlett Sr. was an American politician who served as the 19th governor of Oklahoma from 1967 to 1971,following his fellow Republican,Henry Bellmon. In 1966,he became the first Roman Catholic elected governor of Oklahoma,defeating the Democratic nominee,Preston J. Moore of Oklahoma City. He was defeated for reelection in 1970 by Tulsa attorney David Hall in the closest election in state history. He was elected to the United States Senate in 1972 and served one term. In 1978,he was diagnosed with lung cancer and did not run for reelection that year. He died of complications of lung cancer two months after retiring from the Senate in 1979.

Brian John Bingman is an American politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma who has served in elected and appointed offices since the 1990s. A member of the Republican Party,he was first elected to the Sapulpa city commission in 1992,before being elected mayor by his fellow commissioners in 1994. He would serve in both of these offices until 2004,when he was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives to represent the 30th district. After one term in the house,Bingman ran for the 12th district of the Oklahoma Senate in 2006 and would hold the seat until term limited in 2016. In 2011,he was elected by Republican senators to serve as the President pro tempore of the Oklahoma Senate,a position he would hold until retirement in 2016.

Born in Missouri and raised in Pope County,Arkansas,Hern graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1986 and briefly attended the Georgia Institute of Technology before returning to Arkansas to work for McDonald's the following year. In 1997 he bought his first McDonald's franchise and in 1999 he earned his MBA degree from the University of Arkansas,Little Rock. After moving to Oklahoma in 1999,Hern expanded his McDonald's franchises,eventually owning 18 franchises in the Tulsa metropolitan area. In 2018,he ran his first campaign for office and was elected to the United States House of Representatives.

Incumbent senator James Lankford won re-election to a second full term,defeating cybersecurity professional Madison Horn in a landslide,winning all 77 counties by more than 50% of the vote in each one.
The 2022 Oklahoma Senate general election were held on November 8,2022. The primary elections for the Republican,Democratic,and Libertarian parties' nominations took place on June 28,2022. Runoff primary elections,if no candidate received 50% in the June 28 vote,took place on August 23. All candidates had to file between the days of April 13–15,2022. Oklahoma voters elected state senators in 24 of the state's 48 Senate districts. State senators served four-year terms in the Oklahoma Senate.
