The bonding-studenteninitiative e.V. (short name bonding) is an independent, non-political and non-profit student organisation. It was founded in 1988 in Aachen, Germany. The name derives from wire bonding, where interconnections between an integrated circuit and its outer world are made.

Contents

Its aim is to develop students of engineering and natural sciences for professional life. This aim is mainly followed by the bonding-Firmenkontaktmesse (a job fair) which is organised every year at each location. Additionally, bonding organises company visits, company presentations, case studies, softskill trainings and more. These projects are for free for the participating students.

bonding is a member of the Cologne Round Table (Kölner Runde).

Cologne–Aachen high-speed railway

The Cologne–Aachen high-speed line is the German part of the Trans-European transport networks project high-speed line Paris–Brussels–Cologne. It is not a newly built railway line, but a project to upgrade the existing railway line which was opened in 1841 by the Rhenish Railway Company. The Electrical Engineering STudents' European assoCiation (EESTEC) is a nonprofit apolitical and non-governmental student organization for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) students at universities, institutes and schools of technology in Europe awarding an engineering degree. Köln-Müngersdorf Technologiepark station

Köln-Müngersdorf/Technologiepark is a railway station situated at Müngersdorf, Cologne in western Germany. The station was opened on 15 December 2002 on a section of the Cologne–Aachen railway that was opened by the Rhenish Railway Company between Cologne and Müngersdorf on 2 August 1839. The station has a partially covered island platform, which is connected by two sets of stairs and a lift to the street below, on which there is a Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe bus stop.

The terms Rivalry between Cologne and Düsseldorf or Rivalry between Düsseldorf and Cologne refer to the competitive relationship between the two major cities in the Rhineland, which are located just under 40 kilometres apart on the Rhine. This rivalry, although celebrated as "enmity" folkloristic on a sporting and cultural level, is based on historical and economic facts. While the larger Cologne developed from a Roman colony and later Free Imperial City, the modern residential city Düsseldorf, which developed from a small medieval settlement, is today the capital of the state North Rhine-Westphalia.
