Brainstorm is a monthly trade publication for the South African technology sector published by technology media house ITWeb. [1] The magazine was started in 2001. [2] The founders are two Serbian migrated to South Africa, Branko Brkic and Jovan Regasek. [2] Branko Brkic is also the founding editor of the magazine. [2] In November 2014 Jane Steinacker was appointed the editor. [3] Sister publication of the magazine is iWeek . [4]

Daily Maverick is a South African daily online newspaper founded in 2009 and edited by Branko Brkic and published by Styli Charalambous. It is run by an independent private company. According to the Daily Maverick website, the publication is "a unique blend of news, information, analysis and opinion delivered from our newsroom in Johannesburg, South Africa". Charalambous says the website is also "a platform for photojournalism, providing readers with a visual insight into what is happening in South Africa, Africa and globally".

Charlie Jane Anders American science fiction author and commentator

Charlie Jane Anders is an American writer and commentator. She has written several novels and is the publisher of other magazine, the "magazine of pop culture and politics for the new outcasts". In 2005, she received the Lambda Literary Award for work in the transgender category, and in 2009, the Emperor Norton Award. Her 2011 novelette Six Months, Three Days won the 2012 Hugo and was a finalist for the Nebula and Theodore Sturgeon Awards. Her 2016 novel All the Birds in the Sky was listed No. 5 on Time magazine's "Top 10 Novels" of 2016, won the 2017 Nebula Award for Best Novel, the 2017 Crawford Award, and the 2017 Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel; it was also a finalist for the 2017 Hugo Award for Best Novel. iWeek is a biweekly trade publication for the South African technology sector published by technology media house ITWeb. The magazine was started in 2005. Sipho Memela is the founding editor of iWeek. In 2010 Martin Czernowalow became the editor of the magazine. The magazine was formerly published on a weekly basis. The circulation of iWeek was 9,300 copies. Sister magazine of iWeek is Brainstorm.

Digital Life was a monthly lifestyle and consumer technology magazine aimed at South African consumers published by technology media house ITWeb. The magazine was started in 2006 and the first issue appeared in October 2006. The magazine ceased publication with the June/July 2010 issue.

<i>Glamour</i> (magazine) American magazine

Glamour is an online women's magazine published by Condé Nast Publications. Founded in 1939 and first published in April 1939 in the United States, it was originally called Glamour of Hollywood.

Dubul' ibhunu, translated as shoot the Boer or kill the Boer, is a controversial South African song. The intended meaning of the song as well as who it is supposed to refer to is disputed. Critics of the song state that is calls for and celebrates violence against the minority white population in South Africa, whilst supporters of the song state that it is a liberation song that articulates legitimate and non-violent expression of protest that constitutes an important part of South Africa's history. Depending on the interpretation the song might refer to institutional structures such as the National Party dominated apartheid era government of South Africa or any system of white supremacy and racial oppression; or to specific groups of people such as members of the South African Police Force and Army during apartheid, Boer people, Afrikaners, white farmers, or white South Africans generally. It is similar to, although not to be confused with, the controversial slogan "One Settler, One Bullet".

Takealot.com(styled takealot.com') is a South African e-commerce company based in Cape Town, South Africa. As the country’s largest online retailer, takealot.com has helped grow online shopping in South Africa, and was the first local retailer to take part in Black Friday.

Adanna Steinacker is a Nigerian medical doctor, entrepreneur, digital influencer and public speaker on female empowerment and humanitarianism. Her YouTube channel "The Adanna David Family", which she runs together with her husband David Steinacker, a German business consultant, features weekly vlogs and counts over 301,000 subscribers.
