A pride parade is an outdoor event celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary and queer (LGBTQ) social and self acceptance, achievements, legal rights, and pride. The events also at times serve as demonstrations for legal rights such as same-sex marriage. Most pride events occur annually, and some take place around June to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City, a pivotal moment in modern LGBTQ social movements. The parades seek to create community and honor the history of the movement. In 1970, pride and protest marches were held in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco around the first anniversary of Stonewall. The events became annual and grew internationally. In 2019, New York and the world celebrated the largest international Pride celebration in history: Stonewall 50 - WorldPride NYC 2019, produced by Heritage of Pride commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, with five million attending in Manhattan alone.

Street performance is practiced all over the world and dates back to antiquity. People engaging in this practice are called street performers or buskers in the United Kingdom. Buskers is not a term generally used in American English.

He worked as a magician for three years in Argentina before he decided to become a professional football freestyler / football juggler. He moved from Argentina to Sweden to study at the school of contemporary arts in Cirkus Cirkör. He specialized in football freestyling, football juggling and acrobatics. He was also educated in the arts of performing, theatre and dance.

The Waterloo Busker Carnival is a not-for-profit, volunteer operated buskers festival in Waterloo, Ontario where families from Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph, Cambridge, and communities in the Region of Waterloo are treated to street performances by buskers from Canada and around the world. Started in 1989, the carnival is now considered to be one of the premier busker carnivals not just in Canada but around the world. Nearly 80 thousand people attend the 4-day event held during the last week in August.

The Mnet Asian Music Award for Song of the Year is an honor presented at the annual Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), a South Korean awards ceremony, consisting of one of its four most prestigious daesang awards. Måneskin is an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016. The band is composed of vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio. Performing in the streets in their early days, they rose to prominence after finishing second in the eleventh season of the Italian talent show X Factor in 2017. The Halifax Busker Festival is an annual event held by Premier Entertainment Group in Halifax, Nova Scotia on the Halifax Waterfront showcasing talent from buskers around the world. The festival runs for 6 days during the Natal Day long weekend in July and August. The festival was founded in 1986 as Halifax Busker Festival. Admission to the festival is free but audience members are encouraged to tip performers. The official website for the festival allows people to tip performers via an online link. In 2020 the event was held entirely online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival was cancelled in 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic, replaced instead by in-person performances by local musicians and magicians.
