The European Men's U-17 Volleyball Championship is a European volleyball championship for male players under the age of 17, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation and held biannually.

The European Volleyball Championship of the Small Countries Association is a biannual sport competition for men's, women's and junior national teams. It is recognized and fully supported by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and organized by one of its zonal associations called CEV Small Countries Association, formerly Small Countries Division (SCD). Only national federations of the 15 countries which are members of the CEV SCA are eligible to participate in the tournaments.

Fenerbahçe Men's Volleyball, commonly known as Fenerbahçe, are the men's volleyball department of Fenerbahçe SK, a major Turkish multi-sport club based in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 1927, they are one of the most successful volleyball teams in Turkey, having won five Turkish Volleyball League titles, four Turkish Cups, and four Turkish Super Cups, among others. In Europe Fenerbahçe have won two Balkan Cups and the CEV Challenge Cup in the 2013–14 season, thus writing volleyball history as the women's team won another continental title, the CEV Cup, the very same day. By achieving this unparalleled feat, Fenerbahçe became the first and only sports club in Turkey and one of a few in Europe with European titles won in both the men's and women's volleyball departments.

The Men's Junior European Volleyball Championship is a volleyball competition for men's national teams with players under the age of 20 years, currently held biannually and organized by the European Volleyball Confederation, the confederation for Europe.

She has won gold medals with the Serbia women's national volleyball team at the 2018 and 2022 World Championships, and the 2017 and 2019 European Championships. She is also a two-time Olympic medalist, having won silver at the 2016 Rio Games and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Games.

The Men's South American Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of South America, organized by the Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol (CSV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1967 they have been awarded every two years. The competition has been dominated by Brazil, which won 33 of the 35 editions. The first tournament not won by Brazil was the 1964 championship, when the team did not compete due to political turmoil in the country, and the tournament was won by Argentina. Recently, in the 2023 edition, Argentina won their second title, ending Brazil's dominance since 1967.

As of the 2023 edition, the CEV aligned the age limit for the men's and women's competitions to U17. For the first three editions of the tournament age limit for women's competition was U16.

The 2020 Women's Junior European Volleyball Championship was the 27th edition of the competition, with the main phase held in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia from 22 to 30 August 2020.

The Greece women's national under-19 volleyball team represents Greece in international women's volleyball competitions and friendly matches under the age 19 and it is ruled and managed by the Hellenic Volleyball Federation That is an affiliate of Federation of International Volleyball FIVB and also a part of European Volleyball Confederation CEV.

The 2020 Boys' U18 Volleyball European Championship was the 14th edition of the Boys' Youth European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. Originally, the tournament was scheduled to be hosted jointly by Italy and Greece, but the latter gave up the hosting right. The tournament was held in Lecce and Marsicovetere, Italy from 5 to 13 September 2020. The top six teams of the tournament qualified for the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship as the CEV representatives.

The 2022 Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship was the 15th edition of the Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) the girls' under-17 national teams of Europe. The tournament was held in Czech Republic from 16 to 24 July 2022.

The Women's U22 European Volleyball Championship is a sport competition for volleyball national teams with players under 22 years, currently held biannually and organized by the European Volleyball Confederation, the volleyball federation from Europe. As of the 2024 edition, the CEV will align the age limit for the men's and women's competitions to U22.

Daniele Santarelli is an Italian women's volleyball coach. He is the current head coach of Imoco Volley and the Turkey women's national volleyball team. Previously, he was coach of the Croatian national team, and the Serbian national team with whom he won the 2022 World Championship.

The 2023 Women's U17 European Volleyball Championship was the 4th edition of the Women's U17 European Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) the girls' under-17 national teams of Europe. The tournament was held in Serbia and Hungary from 11 to 23 July 2023.
