CORE, sometimes referred to as the CORE Group Marketing LLC, is a New York-based, full-service real estate brokerage firm.

History

CORE was founded in 2005 by Jack Cayre (the son of real estate developer and music and video executive Joseph Cayre) and South African immigrant Shaun Osher, [1] [2] [3] an acronym for Cayre Osher Real Estate. The CORE consists of over 170 real estate professionals and staff with offices in Chelsea, Flatiron, Union Square, Madison Avenue and Brooklyn. CORE has generated over $5 billion in sales and marketed and sold over 30 new development projects. [4]

In March 2010, The Real Deal announced CORE’s participation in the HGTV reality show, Selling New York. [5]

In 2014, Related Companies acquired a stake in CORE to further expand the firm's brand and offerings throughout New York City. [6] [7]

One Manhattan West is a 67-story office skyscraper at 395 Ninth Avenue in the Manhattan West development on the West Side of Manhattan in New York City, United States. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), it was completed in 2019 and is the second tower to be completed in the development after 3 Manhattan West. The tower is rectangular in plan, with a curtain wall that contains insulated glazing, as well as a reinforced-concrete mechanical core. Because One Manhattan West partially overhangs a set of railroad tracks, the mechanical core carries most of the building's structural loads.
