The Calvin A. Buffington House is a historic house located at Depot Street and Railroad Avenue in Berkshire, Tioga County, New York.
It is a two-story, frame pattern book house, built in 1909. Also on the property is a contributing frame garage and slate sidewalk. It was the home of Calvin A. Buffington, who patented a folding chair design that he manufactured in Berkshire until 1926. [2]

The Deacon John Buffington House is a historic house at 262 Cedar Avenue in Swansea, Massachusetts. It is a 2-1/2 story wood frame structure, four bays wide, with a side gable roof, and its chimney centered behind one of the inner bays, behind the main entrance. Exterior styling is simple, with plain boards around the door, and only minor embellishment on the window framing. A two-story ell extends to the rear. The house was probably built c. 1790. Its first documented owner was John Buffington, a member of the locally prominent Buffington family. The house exhibits well-preserved but simple vernacular Georgian styling.
The William Luther House is a historic house at 79 Old Warren Road in Swansea, Massachusetts. It is a 1-1/2 story wood frame Cape style house, five bays wide, with a side gable roof, central chimney, clapboard siding on the front and wooden shingles on the sides. The front door is an original vertical board door. An ell extends to the rear of the house, added in the late 19th or early 20th century. The house was built c. 1849, and is a well-preserved example of Greek Revival styling. The house was for many years owned by members of the locally prominent Buffington family.

A second house, a 1 1⁄2-story, five-bay frame structure, was built about 1815 in a vernacular Federal style. Also on the property is a mid-19th-century barn, a late 19th-century dairy barn with silo, and a small shed.

The Walker Tavern is a historic structure located at 11710 U.S. Route 12 in Cambridge Township in northwesternmost Lenawee County, Michigan. It was designated as a Michigan Historic Site on February 19, 1958 and was later the county's first property added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 25, 1971. The structure was incorporated into the Cambridge Junction Historic State Park and continues to serve as a museum and venue for various events.

Berkshire No. 7 is a wood and steel barge constructed in 1935. It is historically important as a transitional canal barge and as one of the few surviving wooden-hulled canal boats. It was used to transport bulk cargo, including shipping fertilizer, from Connecticut to Long Island Sound. It sank in 1974 along with the Elmer S. Dailey and the Priscilla Dailey in the harbor of Bridgeport, Connecticut on the west side of the Pequonnock River. The sunken vessel has deteriorated to the point that a salvage operation could result in breaking it apart. The Berkshire No. 7 was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 21, 1978.
The James M. Forney House is a historic building located in Burlington, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. Forney was a cabinet maker in Pennsylvania who came to Burlington in 1850 and opened a saw mill. By 1857 he sold his business to his competitors and entered into a partnership with his brother-in-law, Samuel Mellinger, in a tin and coopersmith firm. By 1866 he put his wealth into real estate. In 1875 Forney started another commercial venture with M. C. Buffington, the inventor and patent holder for the Improved Sarven Wheel, also known as the Buffington Wheel. They formed a partnership and opened Buffington, Forney & Company, a carriage wheel manufacturer. They patented and manufactured the Universal Wheelwright Machine, which was considered the finest wheel making machine in the world.
