Chadstone Shopping Centre is a shopping centre located in the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Malvern East. Chadstone Shopping Centre is the biggest shopping centre in Australia by both area and number of stores and one of the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere. The centre opened on 3 October 1960 and was the first self-contained regional shopping centre in Melbourne.

Cairns Central Shopping Centre is in Cairns City, Cairns, Far North Queensland, Australia. It is Cairns' biggest shopping centre. The centre was opened in late 1997 and is the second multi-story shopping centre in northern Queensland. The shopping centre is built over the Cairns railway station, which is incorporated with the centre. Pedestrian access to the station is through the car park on the bottom floor, or a pedestrian walkway on the second floor. Construction of the shopping centre was delayed temporarily due to damage suffered from Tropical Cyclone Justin in early 1997.

With 97 stores and 555,000 square feet (51,600 m2) of retail space, it is the second largest shopping mall in Northern Ontario, trailing just behind the New Sudbury Centre in Greater Sudbury in area. Built in 1973, the mall has since undergone two major expansions. Its major tenants include 52,000 square feet (4,800 m2) Galaxy Cinemas movie theatre complex. The mall is located on the waterfront in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, and is roughly five minutes away from the Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge to the United States. The Sault Ste. Marie railway station is located in the mall's parking lot.

Smith Street is a major street in the Darwin Central Business district of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. Smith Street is named after A. H. Smith who was the first surveyor in charge of party number 3 of George Goyder in 1869. Smith Street runs 2.2 km (1.4 mi) in a north-west to south-east direction from Larrakeyah into the Darwin CBD. The street intersects with Daly Street, Knuckey Street and terminates at the Esplanade.
Karingal Hub Shopping Centre as well as its "Town Square" is the second largest shopping complex located at 330 Cranbourne Rd, Frankston, Victoria, Australia, approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Melbourne CBD. The complex has a combined gross leasable area of 53,000 m2 (570,000 sq ft), 2,750 parking spaces and 200+ stores. It was acquired by ISPT, or the Industry Superannuation Property Trust in July, 2013 and has been owned by other corporations in the past such as Vicinity Centres, which owns its competitor Bayside. It has the only Big W in and around the peninsula and has a multitude of popular shops, and includes a renovated and tall playground within its Town Square as well as an additional smaller playground in the south of the building, close to the retailer Big W.

Trower Road is a major arterial road in the northern suburbs of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The road is a major access route for services and institutions located in the Casuarina area, including Casuarina Square, Royal Darwin Hospital and Charles Darwin University. The road is named for Horace M Trower, Director of Lands from 1917-21. It is one of the busiest roads in Darwin, used by an average of 27,084 vehicles per day in 2010, behind only Bagot Road and the Stuart Highway. Trower Road provides dual carriageways separated by central median for most of its length, however as many suburban collector roads meet along the route, the maximum speed limit is 70 km/h (43 mph). The road was opened in stages between 1963 and 1969 as development in the northern suburbs progressed. A final extension in 1981 providing access to the Casuarina Coastal Reserve left a section of the road in Brinkin isolated from the main route.
