Catherine ("Cathy") Tanvier (born 28 May 1965) is a former tennis player from France.
She peaked at number 20 in 1984 and won one singles and nine doubles titles on the WTA Tour.
In 1982, Tanvier became Wimbledon girls' singles champion after defeating first-seeded Helena Suková in the final in straight sets. [1]
Tanvier won one singles title on the WTA Tour, at the 1983 Freiburg Open clay court tournament, defeating Laura Arraya in the final in straight sets.
At the Wimbledon Championships she reached the fourth round in the singles event in 1985, which she lost to eight-seeded Zina Garrison. [2] Reaching the fourth round was also her best singles result at the Australian Open (1989, 1990, 1991) and French Open (1983, 1988). [3] Her best career result at a Grand Slam tournament was reaching the semifinal of the 1983 French Open women's doubles event with Ivanna Madruga.
Tanvier published two biographies; in 2007 she wrote Déclassée – de Roland-Garros au RMI, [lower-alpha 1] [4] and in 2013 published Détraquements, de la colère à la torpeur. [5] [6]
In 2010, she made her debut as an actress in Jean-Luc Godard's Film Socialisme .
She now lives in Nice, France.

Lisa Raymond is an American former professional tennis player who has achieved notable success in doubles tennis. Raymond has eleven major titles to her name: six in women's doubles and five in mixed doubles. On June 12, 2000, she reached the world No. 1 ranking in doubles for the first time, becoming the 13th player to reach the milestone. Raymond was ranked No. 1 on five separate occasions in her career over a combined total of 137 weeks and finished as the year-end No. 1 doubles player in both 2001 and 2006. She currently holds the record of most doubles match wins (860) and most doubles matches played (1,206) in WTA history, and earned more than $10 million in prize money in her career.
Cara Cavell Black is a Zimbabwean former professional tennis player. Black was primarily a doubles specialist, winning 60 WTA Tour and 11 ITF doubles titles. A former doubles world No. 1, she won ten major titles. By winning the 2010 Australian Open mixed doubles title, Black became the third woman in the Open Era to complete the career Grand Slam in mixed doubles. Having also won one singles title on the WTA Tour, Black peaked at world No. 31 in the singles rankings in March 1999.
Iveta Benešová is a Czech former tennis player. She began playing tennis aged seven and turned professional in 1998. She won two WTA Tour singles and 14 doubles tournaments, and one Grand Slam title in mixed doubles, partnering with Jürgen Melzer at the 2011 Wimbledon Championships. On 14 September 2012, she married Melzer and adopted his family name. She announced her retirement from professional tennis on 13 August 2014.

Hsieh has won three singles and 34 doubles titles on the WTA Tour, one WTA 125 doubles title, 27 singles and 23 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit, seven medals at the Asian Games, one gold and one bronze medal at the 2005 Summer Universiade, and has amassed over $10 million in prize money. She has spent a total of 52 weeks with the top doubles ranking, the longest tenure by a tennis player from East Asia and 2nd longest of an Asian player after Sania Mirza. Hsieh is the highest-ranked Taiwanese player in history, in both singles and doubles.
Lucie Hradecká is a Czech former professional tennis player. A three-time Grand Slam doubles champion and 26-time WTA Tour doubles titlist, she reached her career-high doubles ranking of world No. 4 in October 2012. She was also an integral member of the Czech Republic's national team and helped her country to win five titles at the Fed Cup between 2011 and 2016, in addition to winning two Olympic medals in both women's doubles with Andrea Sestini Hlaváčková in 2012 and in mixed doubles with Radek Štěpánek in 2016. Hradecká also reached the top 45 in singles and was a finalist in seven tour-level singles tournaments. She announced her retirement from the sport at the end of the 2022 season.
Lyudmyla Viktorivna Kichenok is a Ukrainian professional tennis player. With Mate Pavić, she won the 2023 Wimbledon Championships in mixed doubles. On 20 March 2023, she peaked at No. 7 in the doubles rankings. Kichenok has won nine doubles titles on the WTA Tour, including four with her twin sister Nadiia. Zheng Saisai or Zheng Sai-Sai is a Chinese tennis player. She achieved her career-high singles ranking of world No. 34 on 2 March 2020 and a doubles ranking of No. 15 on 11 July 2016. In her career, she won one WTA Tour singles title in 2019, and five WTA doubles titles. She also reached the final of the 2019 French Open in doubles with compatriot Duan Yingying, and won three singles and three WTA 125 doubles titles, as well as twelve singles and nine doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit.
Svetlana Germanovna Parkhomenko is a retired Soviet and Russian tennis player and tennis coach.
