Ruby Allen is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Louisa Lytton from 18 March 2005 to 23 November 2006, and then again from 18 September 2018 to 17 September 2021. The character and casting were announced in February 2005, and Ruby was introduced in March that year by producer Kathleen Hutchison. She was featured in storylines surrounding her gangland father Johnny Allen, with whom she shared a problematic relationship with due to his criminal lifestyle. Other storylines included a close friendship with Stacey Slater, and an engagement to Stacey's brother Sean - which affected their friendship. In July 2006, Lytton was axed from the show due to limited possibilities for the character following the death of her on-screen father, and Ruby departed on 23 November 2006. In July 2018, it was confirmed Lytton would return after a twelve-year absence. Ruby returned on 18 September 2018 and departed once again on 17 September 2021.

She received the 1991 National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Actress for the Mike Leigh film Life Is Sweet and the 1993 Olivier Award for Best Actress for her role as Mari in the original production of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. In a 2007 Channel 4 poll, the ‘50 Greatest Actors’ voted for by other actors, she was ranked 42.
"Stark Raving Dad" is the first episode of the third season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on September 19, 1991. In the episode, Homer is sent to a mental institution for wearing a pink shirt to work. At the institution, Homer shares a room with a man who claims to be pop star Michael Jackson. Meanwhile, Bart promises his sister Lisa he will get her the best birthday present ever.
The Beales and the Fowlers are a fictional family in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. They were the main family for storylines in early episodes of EastEnders, and remained as such ever since. With at least one member of the family having been a member of the cast from the first episode in February 1985, they are the show's longest serving family. The original Beale/Fowler family consisted of matriarch Lou Beale and her children Pete and Pauline, alongside their families including their children Ian, Mark, Michelle and their spouses Kathy Hills and Arthur Fowler. Additionally, several members of the family have been introduced at a later point, including Pauline and Arthur's son Martin who was the first baby to be born into the show in 1985. The family has been headed with a matriarch first seen with Lou, and over the years, Lou's daughter Pauline, Ian's wife Jane Collins and more recently Pete's wife Kathy, have filled this role.
Ruth Alexandra Elisabeth Jones is a Welsh actress, comedian, writer, and producer. She co-wrote and co-starred in the award-winning BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey. Pitt & Kantrop is a French-British children's cartoon produced by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Millimages. It was shown on BBC One and CBBC in the United Kingdom and on Clan in Spain. It follows the journey of a 13-year-old boy named Pitt and his pet pterodactyl Kantrop as they adventure through the wilderness of the Stone Age eras, and solve problems in the tribe's village. Psych is an American detective comedy-drama television series created by Steve Franks for USA Network. Episode 5276 of the BBC soap opera EastEnders was broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 3 May 2016, between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm. It was written by Daran Little, directed by Sophie Lifschutz, and executively produced by Dominic Treadwell-Collins. The episode features the only appearance of the character Alison Slater, played by Denise Welch. The episode focuses on Alison meeting her transgender son Kyle Slater for the first time since he transitioned from female to male, though Alison ultimately rejects her son. It also includes a "heartbreaking" scene between Sonia Fowler and Dot Branning about the possibility of Sonia having breast cancer, which was praised as "fantastic" by Inside Soap. The episode received a total viewership of 7,250,000 in the United Kingdom.
The Slater family are a fictional family from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, that have appeared since Episode 1,997, first broadcast in September 2000. The family are introduced as a central family unit, originally consisting of father Charlie Slater, grandmother Mo Harris, Charlie's daughters, Kat Slater, Lynne Slater, Little Mo Morgan and Kat's teenage daughter Zoe Slater, and Lynne's partner Garry Hobbs. A fifth sister, Belinda Peacock, was introduced one year later. The family were the eighth to be introduced in the soap's history, replacing the di Marco family who departed during the previous month. The Slaters were created by Tony Jordan and introduced by John Yorke. The Slater sisters were cast in an improvisation session. In their first years on the show, the family were involved in storylines about child sexual abuse and domestic violence.
The Rubbish World of Dave Spud is a British children's animated series featuring the surreal adventures of the eponymous Dave Spud of Grimsby, his friends and tower block-dwelling family. It was created and directed by Edward Foster, inspired by his 2003 NFTS student short 'Anna Spud'. It was developed into a pilot in 2010 produced by The Illuminated Film Company. 26 11-minute instalments were commissioned, whilst the soundtrack was composed by electronic group Basement Jaxx. In May 2020, for series 2 a further 52 installments were commissioned. Series 3 aired its first 6 episodes on CITV in July 2023. The rest of Series 3 is currently in production, and will premiere on ITVX on February 8, 2024.
Trolls: TrollsTopia is an animated television series produced by DreamWorks Animation based on the 3D computer-animated comedy musical films Trolls and Trolls World Tour, and the sequel to Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, taking place between World Tour and Trolls Band Together. The series premiered on Hulu and Peacock on November 19, 2020. A second season was released on March 18, 2021, a third season was released on June 10, 2021, a fourth season was released on September 2, 2021, a fifth season was released on December 9, 2021, a sixth season was released on February 17, 2022, and a seventh and final season was released on August 11, 2022.
