This is intended to be a complete list of properties and districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Orleans County, New York. Two listings, the New York State Barge Canal and the Cobblestone Historic District, are further designated a National Historic Landmark.
Glenville Historic District, also known as Sherwood's Bridge, is a 33.9 acres (13.7 ha) historic district in the Glenville neighborhood of the town of Greenwich, Connecticut. It is the "most comprehensive example of a New England mill village within the Town of Greenwich". It "is also historically significant as one of the town's major staging areas of immigrants, predominantly Irish in the 19th century and Polish in the 20th century" and remains "the primary settlement of Poles in the town". Further, "[t]he district is architecturally significant because it contains two elaborate examples of mill construction, designed in the Romanesque Revival and a transitional Stick-style/Queen Anne; an excellent example of a Georgian Revival school; and notable examples of domestic and commercial architecture, including a Queen Anne mansion and an Italianate store building."
Tifton Commercial Historic District, in Tifton in Tift County, Georgia, is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1986 and expanded in 1994. The original listing was portions of 10 blocks including buildings from the 1890s to the late 1930s, most built of brick.
Sylvester Commercial Historic District is a historic district in Sylvester, Georgia that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1987. It includes the Worth County Local Building which is separately NRHP-listed. Its boundaries were increased in 2002 to include some federally owned property. The expanded district included 65 contributing buildings and 16 noncontributing buildings.
Dalton Commercial Historic District is a historic district in Dalton, Georgia that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1988. Its boundaries were expanded in 2006.
Thomasville Commercial Historic District is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and was both increased and decreased in 2004. The modified district, about 60 acres (24 ha) in size, then included 123 contributing buildings, three contributing structures, and a contributing object, as well as 65 non-contributing buildings.
The Downtown Athens Historic District is a historic area in the Downtown Athens neighborhood of Athens, Georgia. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Its boundaries were revised twice, in 1984 and 2006, and additional documentation was filed in 2006.
The Cedartown Waterworks–Woman's Building–Big Spring Park Historic District is a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It includes three properties in Polk County, Georgia, west of downtown Cedartown, Georgia: Big Spring Park, the Cedartown Waterworks, and the Cedartown Woman's Building.
The Carnegie Library of Moultrie is a historic Carnegie Library on a corner lot in downtown Moultrie, Georgia that was built in 1908. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is located at 39 North Main Street.
The Lagrange Commercial Historic District in LaGrange, Georgia is a 32-acre (13 ha) historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It includes 72 contributing buildings, two contributing sites, and 30 non-contributing buildings.
The North Main Street Commercial Historic District in Statesboro, Georgia is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It includes eight adjacent contributing buildings on the west side of the first block of North Main Street. It does not include the property at the corner of West Main and North Main, but rather is the next eight buildings going north from that, to and including the corner of Courtland Street.
The Moultrie Commercial Historic District, in Moultrie in Colquitt County, Georgia, is a 48 acres (19 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The district is roughly bounded by NE. First Ave., SE. Second Ave., W. First St. and E. Fourth St. In 1994, the district included 61 contributing buildings and one contributing object. It also included 17 non-contributing buildings.
The Kingsland Commercial Historic District is a 2 acres (0.81 ha) historic district in Kingsland, Georgia which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. It included six contributing buildings.
The Griffin Commercial Historic District, in Griffin, Georgia, is a 28 acres (11 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It included 93 contributing buildings, two contributing structures, and a contributing site. The district is roughly bounded by Central Alley, Sixth, Taylor and Eighth Streets.
The Conyers Commercial Historic District is a 6 acres (2.4 ha) in Conyers, Georgia which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
The Cave Spring Commercial Historic District in Cave Spring, Georgia is a 6 acres (2.4 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The listing included 12 contributing buildings and a contributing site.
The Gainesville Commercial Historic District in Gainesville, Georgia is a 18 acres (7.3 ha) historic district which is roughly bounded by Broad St., Maple St., Academy St. and Green St. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
The Elizabethtown Courthouse Square and Commercial District, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, is a 10 acres (4.0 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The listing included 38 contributing buildings.
The Louisville Commercial Historic District, in Louisville, Georgia, is a historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
The Ringgold Commercial Historic District, in Ringgold, Georgia, is a historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
