Established 1 May 2014 following the amalgamation of Advance TAFE and GippsTAFE, with 10 campuses from Warragul in West Gippsland across the state to Lakes Entrance in the east.
In 2012, GippsTAFE opened its doors to the GippsTAFE Academy, located in the heart of Traralgon. The Academy introduces higher education programs for the first time, including graduate certificates and graduate diplomas. Pathway options to University will also be a focus for the Academy.
GippsTAFE also offers a range of other services including:The GETT Centre, which provides training and employment opportunities for individuals who suffer from disability or illness. The GippsTAFE Skills Gateway, which is a free assessment service that matches an individual's skills or experience to a qualification and provides credits towards the qualification. In 2004 Central Gippsland Institute of TAFE (GippsTAFE) signed a partnership agreement to develop the Gippsland Education Precinct (GEP) at Churchill together with Monash University, Gippsland Group Training, Kurnai Secondary College and Latrobe City, to provide wider vocational options and lift the region's high school retention rate. The $12million project funded by the Victorian Government will include a state-of-the-art technology centre, which will allow for advanced apprenticeship training in trades that rely heavily on information technology systems.

Nurse education consists of the theoretical and practical training provided to nurses with the purpose to prepare them for their duties as nursing care professionals. The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is a vocational education provider in Australia's capital city Canberra, the city is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory. Tasmania Tomorrow is a Tasmanian-government initiative which aims to improve the post-secondary education experience of Tasmanians. The initiative commenced 1 January 2009, and includes restructuring Senior Secondary Colleges and TAFE Tasmania. It was anticipated that the restructuring would be complete by the start of the 2011 school year.

North Metropolitan TAFE is a state government-funded educational facility delivering Technical and Further Education (TAFE). It services the northern suburbs of Perth across ten campuses. It was formed on 11 April 2016, when the State Government announced after the Independent Review of the Vocational Education and Training Sector in Western Australia, that the 11 State Training Providers would be streamlined and form five new TAFE colleges in Western Australia. This resulted in the merging of Central Institute and West Coast Institute to form North Metropolitan TAFE.
