    Dadai Dubai was terminated from ministry for raising his voice against involvement of Chief Minister in various scams, transfer-posting of officials in the state. He was quoted "Chief Minister Hemant Soren lacks political will to eliminate poverty, corruption and terrorism from the state". He was disappointed with Jharkhand Congress, to continue his fight against corruption and social injustice in Jharkhand.

    Shibu Soren is an Indian politician who is currently member of Rajya Sabha representing Jharkhand and the leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. He formerly served as 3rd Chief Minister of Jharkhand, first in 2005 for 10 days, then from 2008 to 2009 and again from 2009 to 2010. He is also the President of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) political party, a constituent of the UPA. He was the member of Lok Sabha from Dumka from 1980 to 1984, 1989 to 1998 and from 2002 to 2019 and Minister for Coal in the Union Cabinet from 2004 to 2004, 2004 to 2005 and from 2006 to 2006, when a Delhi district court found him guilty in the murder of his private secretary Shashi Nath Jha in 1994.     Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is a political party in the Indian state of Jharkhand which was founded by Binod Bihari Mahato. It has one seat in the 17th Lok Sabha. Shibu Soren is the president of the JMM. JMM is also an influential political party in the state of Odisha and parts of neighbouring of states. Its election symbol for Jharkhand is Bow and Arrow.

    Although India is a parliamentary democracy, the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism, possibly due to the absence of party organizations, independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party, or centralized financing of elections. The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national, state, regional, and district level. The Nehru–Gandhi family has produced three Indian prime ministers, and family members have largely led the Congress party since 1978. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also has several dynastic leaders. In addition to the major national parties, other national and regional parties such as Shiromani Akali Dal, Shiv Sena, Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Janata Dal Secular, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, Kerala Congress, Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, Indian Union Muslim League, AIMIM, and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families, mostly those of the party founders.

He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and has served as union minister of state for environment and forests in the government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Bais has been elected seven times to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament, representing the Raipur constituency, including serving as a member of the 9th Lok Sabha (1989) and 11th to 16th Lok Sabha (1996-2019).

    Madhu Koda is an Indian politician who had served as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand from 2006 to 2008. He was sworn in as the fifth Chief Minister of Jharkhand on 18 September 2006, and remained in office until he resigned on 27 August 2008.

    Bindeshwari Dubey was a freedom fighter, trade unionist and politician who served as Chief Minister of Bihar between 12 March 1985 and 13 February 1988.

    Chandrashekhar Singh was a member of the Indian National Congress and served as the 16th Chief Minister of Bihar from August 1983 to March 1985. He also held a number of Union State Minister positions in the Ministry of Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. He was elected to Bihar Vidhan Sabha four times, and also to the Parliament a few times. He also the first minister for Ministry of Textiles.

    Hemant Soren is an Indian politician from Jharkhand, who served as the 5th Chief Minister of Jharkhand from 2019 to 2024 and from 2013 to 2014. He is also the working president of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, a political party in Jharkhand. He represents Barhait constituency in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly since 2014 and from Dumka from 2019 to 2020 and from 2009 to 2014. He was also the Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand from 2010 to 2013, leader of the opposition, Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from 2014 to 2019 and member of Rajya Sabha from Jharkhand from 2009 to 2010.

    The Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, commonly known as the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral state legislature of Jharkhand.

    Kameshwar Baitha is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Palamu constituency of Jharkhand. He is now the state President of All India Trinamool Congress Jharkhand Unit. He was originally a member of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha political party, but joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2014. He left the BJP for the Trinamool Congress after failing to get a ticket for the general Elections of 2014.

    Haji Hussain Ansari was an Indian politician and a leader of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). He served as Minister of Minority Welfare and Registration Department in the Government of Jharkhand since 28 January 2020. Ansari was the first and only Muslim to become minister in the state of Jharkhand. He was elected to the Jharkhand Assembly on the JMM ticket four times from Madhupur Assembly constituency in 1995, 2000, 2009 and 2019 respectively. He also acted as the leader of the opposition in 2004.

    Durga Soren (1970–2009) was a leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and a member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He was the son of JMM chief Shibu Soren and the husband of Sita Soren, who was a Member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from Jama constituency. He was also the elder brother of Hemant Soren, the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

    Simon Marandi was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from Rajmahal as a member of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha from 1989 to 1996.

    Bokaro Steel Worker's Union is a union of workers of Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. It was founded by Veteran Trade Unionist and former Chief Minister of Undivided Bihar Bindeshwari Dubey in the year 1963, of which he was its first President. Later he made INTUC President Michael John its president and he himself became its secretary. It is affiliated to ITUC affiliated Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC).

    Binod Bihari Mahato was an advocate and politician. He founded Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, established in 1972. He was a leader of the movement for the establishment of the separate state of Jharkhand. He was a member of Bihar Vidhan Sabha three times, in 1980, 1985 and 1990, and a member of the Lok Sabha from Giridih in 1991.

    Mahagathbandhan, also known as Grand Alliance, is a coalition of political parties in the Eastern state of Jharkhand in India, formed before the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

    Champai Soren is an Indian politician currently serving as the 7th Chief Minister of Jharkhand since 2 February 2024 after the arrest of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on charges of money laundering. He is a member of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and represents Seraikella assembly constituency as MLA. Previously he was serving as the Cabinet Minister of Transport, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste & Backward class welfare in the cabinet of 2nd Hemant Soren ministry.

    Suraj Mandal is an Indian politician and a member of the 10th Lok Sabha. Mandal was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from Godda, Bihar in the 1991 Indian general election as a member of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha by defeating a sitting member of Bharatiya Janata Party leader Janardan Yadav. Mandal was MLA in Bihar Vidhan Sabha from 1980 to 1991.

    Om Prakash Lal, popularly known as O.P Lal, was an Indian politician who served as a Cabinet Minister, Minister of State (MoS) with Independent Charges and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Vidhan Sabha of Government of Bihar. He represented the Baghmara constituency of Jharkhand, then part of undivided Bihar, for three consecutive terms from 1985 to 2000. Lal made significant contributions to the fields of Excise & Probation, Mines & Geology, Tourism, and Information Technology during his political career.
