"Changes" is a song by British singer Will Young. It was written by Young and producer Eg White for his fourth studio album, Let It Go (2008). The song was released as the album's lead single on 19 September 2008, as a digital download, with the physical release a week later.

The track was premiered on 28 July 2008 on BBC Radio 2 by presenter Ken Bruce. [1] For the week commencing 16 August 2008, the track was added into rotation on BBC Radio 2. The track was immediately placed on the A-list, denoting heavy rotation. [2]
The song also debuted on the first Today's 4Music Top 10 Chart at number one on 18 August 2008.
On 21 September 2008 the song entered the UK Singles Chart at number 10. The week of 28 September 2008 the song fell to number 13, becoming his lowest-charting lead single from an album. [3]
The video for "Changes" was shot on the 1 August 2008 on location near Tonbridge. According to his website, Young says "It has probably been the hardest video I’ve ever had to shoot. I ran up and down country lanes, was struck by lightning, set on fire and partially drowned. It’s amazing what you’ll do for music!" He continues, saying he had to drink foul smelling soup, dance in a hay-filled barn in front of a windmachine and also had to lay on rocks, soaked in freezing cold water. It premièred on Channel V on 16 August 2008. [1]
In the beginning, Young seems to be in a deserted petrol station, filling up a petrol canister. He then looks around to find some more people sitting in their cars or sitting outside of it. Also in a shot, a cow is walking along the petrol station. The next shot features Young being in and around his house. He is having a drink, listening to music, and also sitting on the bed, looking out of the window. The next shot upstairs in his house shows him standing what appears to be naked in front of mirrors, singing along with the song. He then gets dressed again and slowly things in the room start to catch fire, including him.
In the next scene Young is throwing things into a big fire. He actually burns his motorbike and personal belongings like a book or photos. After that scene, Will is shown dancing and jumping around in a barn, with hay flying all across the room. The music suddenly stops for a second and a voice appears, asking him what he is doing in that barn. He then gets kicked out and the next shot features Will running along a lonely dark street. He looks at the sky which is filling with clouds. Little sparks suddenly appear on Young's shoulders and as he runs along the street he gets struck by a lightning.
He lays motionless on the street for some seconds. It also starts to rain very heavily. The last shot shows him opening his eyes and lifting his head.

Men at Work is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1978 and best known for breakthrough hits such as "Down Under", "Who Can It Be Now?", "Be Good Johnny", "Overkill", and "It's a Mistake". Its founding member and frontman is Colin Hay, who performs on lead vocals and guitar. After playing as an acoustic duo with Ron Strykert during 1978–1979, Hay formed the group with Strykert playing bass guitar and Jerry Speiser on drums. They were soon joined by Greg Ham on flute, saxophone, and keyboards and John Rees on bass guitar, with Strykert switching back to lead guitar. The group was managed by Russell Depeller, a friend of Hay, whom he met at La Trobe University. This line-up achieved national and international success during the early to mid-1980s.
Terence Edward Hall was a British musician who came to prominence as the lead singer of the 2-tone band the Specials, and later recorded with groups such as Fun Boy Three, the Colourfield, Terry, Blair & Anouchka, and Vegas.
"Yellow" is a song by the British rock band Coldplay. The band wrote the song and co-produced it with British record producer Ken Nelson for their debut album, Parachutes (2000). The song was recorded in March 2000 and released on 26 June that same year as the second UK single from Parachutes, following "Shiver", and as the lead single in the United States.

"No Man's Land" is the first single released by British singer-songwriter Beverley Knight from her fifth studio album, Music City Soul. The song was released on 16 April 2007 digitally and 30 April 2007 physically and peaked at number forty-three on the UK singles chart. "About You Now" is a song by British girl group Sugababes from their fifth studio album, Change (2007). Written and produced by Dr. Luke along with Cathy Dennis and Steven Wolf, it was released on 24 September 2007 by Island Records as the lead single from the album, the first to feature Amelle Berrabah on all tracks. An uptempo pop track that combines heavy elements of pop rock and dance-pop, it infuses light electronic sounds. Lyrically, "About You Now" finds the protagonist thinking deeply over her relationship with her love interest from whom she parted.
"Strawberry Wine" is a song written by Matraca Berg and Gary Harrison, and recorded by American country music artist Deana Carter. "Set You Free" is a song written and recorded by English rave band N-Trance, featuring vocals from English singer Kelly Llorenna. It was first released as a white label record in 1992, then officially released as a single in April 1994, just making the UK top 40 at No. 39. A re-release in January 1995 was much more successful, peaking at No. 2 in the UK. Same year, it was included on the band's debut album, Electronic Pleasure (1995). Later, it was remixed and re-released in 2001, this time reaching No. 4.
"Come on Over" is a song by American recording artist Jessica Simpson from her sixth studio album, Do You Know. It was released on June 24, 2008 by Columbia Nashville as the lead single of the album. It was co-written by country music artist Rachel Proctor, Victoria Banks, and Simpson herself.
"The Shock of the Lightning" is a song by English rock band Oasis. It is the fourth track from the band's seventh studio album, Dig Out Your Soul (2008). The song was released as the first single from the album on 29 September 2008. It received its first airplay on 15 August 2008 on multiple UK and Irish radio stations including the Ian Dempsey Breakfast show on Today FM in Ireland, BBC 6 Music by Shaun Keaveny, and by Chris Moyles on BBC Radio 1. Moyles was joined by Noel Gallagher on 15 August 2008 to make a remix.
"You Make It Real" is the sixth single by English singer James Morrison, and the first from his second album, Songs for You, Truths for Me. The single was released on 22 September 2008; a week before the release of the album. The song was covered by Akon on the Live Lounge on BBC Radio 1. The song appeared on the international soundtrack to the Brazilian soap opera Três Irmãs, and on the soundtrack for the film, He's Just Not That Into You. It was also featured on a commercial for Overstock.com, as well as being featured on the first episode in Season 5 of the television programme Brothers and Sisters.
"The Planets Bend Between Us" is a song from alternative rock band Snow Patrol's fifth album A Hundred Million Suns. It was released as the follow-up single to "If There's a Rocket Tie Me to It" on 24 May 2009. It was the fourth single taken from the album. The lyrics were written by Gary Lightbody and the music was composed by Snow Patrol. The song is about Lightbody's beach house in Belfast. The single featured a re-working of the album version and was released as a digital download only. It was later included on the band's 2009 compilation album Up to Now.
"The Silence" is a song by British singer Alexandra Burke from her debut studio album Overcome (2009). The song was written by Bilal Hajji and Savan Kotecha, along with the song's producer Nadir "RedOne" Khayat. The song was released as the sixth and final single off the album. Burke stated that the song was written when her aunt told the singer about how she and her partner were experiencing troubles in their relationship, and that they were not telling each other how they felt. In response, Burke asked her aunt why he was letting the silence in their relationship do the talking instead of them discussing it. "The Silence" is an R&B and pop-influenced power ballad and instrumentation consists of a piano, a guitar and drums. The lyrics of the song feature the protagonist asking why the other person in the relationship remains silent about their difficulties instead of talking about them.
"Islands" is a song recorded by English indie pop band The xx for their self-titled debut studio album. Written by band-members Jamie Smith, Oliver Sim, Romy Madley Croft and then-member Baria Qureshi, "Islands" is a dark and simple indie pop track. It also contains influences from house music and features instrumentation from guitars and synthesizers. Croft and Sim, who provided vocals in the track, sing about themes related to loyalty and love. "Islands" was released on 26 October 2009 as the third single from the album by Young Turks in 7-inch single and digital download formats. In March 2010, the song was re-released as a 12-inch single.
"Drunk" is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. It was released as the fourth single lifted from the debut studio album + on 17 February 2012. The song was written by Ed Sheeran and Jake Gosling and produced by Gosling. The single entered the UK Singles Chart at number 63. The week after, it climbed to number 29. Later on, it climbed to number 9, making it his fourth top ten single.
"Lightning Bolt" is a song by English singer-songwriter Jake Bugg. It was released on 27 April 2012 in the United Kingdom via digital download, the third from his self-titled debut studio album Jake Bugg (2012).
"Dance wiv Me" is a single by British rapper Dizzee Rascal, from his fourth studio album, Tongue n' Cheek. It was released on 30 June 2008 and features guest vocals from British DJ Calvin Harris and British R&B singer Chrome. The extended mix of the song also appears on Harris' second studio album, Ready for the Weekend.
