China Railway Guangzhou Group,officially abbreviated as CR Guangzhou or CR-Guangzhou,formerly,Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corporation from 1993 to 2017 and Guangzhou Railway Administration from 1953 to 1993,is a subsidiaries company under the jurisdiction of the China Railway (formerly the Ministry of Railway). It supervises the railway network within Guangdong,Hunan,and Hainan Provinces. [1]
Guangzhou Railway is the largest shareholder (37.12%) of Guangshen Railway,the operator of Guangzhou–Shenzhen Railway.

Hunan is an inland province of China. Located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze watershed,it borders the province-level divisions of Hubei to the north,Jiangxi to the east,Guangdong and Guangxi to the south,Guizhou to the west,and Chongqing to the northwest. The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region is the low-lying area surrounding the Pearl River estuary,where the Pearl River flows into the South China Sea. Referred to as the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area in official documents,the region is one of the most densely populated and urbanized regions in the world,and is considered a megacity by numerous scholars. It is currently the wealthiest region in Southern China and one of the wealthiest regions in China along with the Yangtze River Delta in Eastern China and Jingjinji in Northern China. Most of the region is part of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone,which is a special economic zone of China.
Qingyuan,formerly romanized as Tsingyun,is a prefecture-level city in northern Guangdong province,China,on the banks of the Bei or North River. During the 2020 census,its total population was 3,969,473,out of whom 1,738,424 lived in the built-up area made of urbanized Qingcheng and Qingxin districts. The primary spoken language is Cantonese. Covering 19,015 km2 (7,342 sq mi),Qingyuan is Guangdong's largest prefecture-level division by land area,and it borders Guangzhou and Foshan to the south,Shaoguan to the east and northeast,Zhaoqing to the south and southwest,and Hunan province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to the north. The urban core is surrounded by mountainous areas but is directly connected with Guangzhou and the Pearl River Delta by Highway 107.
Guangshen railway or Guangzhou–Shenzhen railway,also known as the Chinese section of the Kowloon–Canton railway (广九铁路华段) in 1911–1949,is a railway in Guangdong province in the People's Republic of China,between Guangzhou and Shenzhen. It is operated by Guangshen Railway Co.,Ltd.,a publicly traded company.
The South Sea Fleet,concurrently the Southern Theater Command Navy (南部战区海军),is one of the three fleets of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy. Responsible for South China Sea,the fleet provides naval forces to the Southern Theater Command. The fleet is headquartered in Zhanjiang,Guangdong,China.
The Foshan Metro is the rapid transit system of the city of Foshan in Guangdong,China. Guangfo line is operated by Guangzhou Metro Corporation,and all other lines are operated by the state-owned Foshan Rail Transit Group. It is the tenth metro system to be built in mainland China. Construction began in 2002 and the first line opened on 3 November 2010. The metro system has one new line and one extension under construction.
The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region Intercity Railway System is a regional higher-speed rail and suburban rail network being gradually constructed in the Pearl River Delta,People's Republic of China. The project's goal is to have every major urban center in the Greater Bay Area to be within one-hour travel by rail to Guangzhou. On March 16,2005,the State Council approved plans for a regional high-speed commuter rail network for the Jingjinji,Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. According to the plan,by 2020,the network will have a total route mileage of about 600 kilometres (370 mi). In September 2009,the plan was expanded to 1,478 km (918 mi) of routes split up into 23 lines. In the long term vision network length will reach 1,890 km (1,170 mi) by 2030. By then the network will provide basic coverage to the Pearl River Delta region. The Suishen ICR,Guanhui ICR and Guangfozhao ICR accept Alipay,avoiding the need to purchase tickets in advance.
The Yiyang–Zhanjiang railway or Yizhan railway,is a railway in China between Hunan,Guangxi and Guangdong. The line was built at the beginning of the 21st century as the southern part of a rail corridor called the Luozhan railway running from Luoyang to Zhanjiang. The Yiyang–Zhanjiang railway runs for 951 km (591 mi). There are also branches to Santangpu and Shuangqing) between Yiyang and Maoming East. The part of the line between Loudi and Shaoyang is electrified and has two tracks.
Changsha railway station is a railway station and a metro station on the Beijing–Guangzhou railway and the Changsha–Zhuzhou–Xiangtan intercity railway. The station is located in Furong District,Changsha,Hunan,China. The station is served by Changsha Metro Line 2 and Line 3.
Dongguan–Huizhou intercity railway,also known as the Guanhui intercity railway or Guanhui City Railway,is a regional railway within Guangdong province,China. It runs between the cities of Dongguan and Huizhou in the Pearl River Delta (PRD). Part of a larger radiating intercity rail transit network,called Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region intercity railway,across the PRD region,directly connecting with the Guangzhou–Shenzhen intercity railway and the planned Foshan–Dongguan intercity railway. Route length is 103.1 kilometres (64.1 mi),with an estimated construction budget of 25.3 billion RMB. The construction period was planned to take three and a half years,actual construction started in May 2009 and completed in June 2013,but the line wasn't opened until 2016. 3 renovated and 14 new stations were built along the route. It has been built with a design speed of 200 kilometres per hour (124 mph). The Xiaojinkou–Changping East section started operations on 30 March 2016.
Foshan–Dongguan intercity railway,also called the Foguan intercity railway,is an under construction regional railway within Guangdong province,China,between the cities of Foshan,via Guangzhou,to Dongguan. It forms one leg of the Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region intercity railway network and will provide connections with the Guangzhou–Shenzhen intercity railway,Dongguan–Huizhou intercity railway and local metro systems. It will connect Panyu District,Guangzhou at the major Guangzhou South interchange,tunnelling under the Pearl River through Machong and Hongmei to Dongguan West providing connections via the Dongguan Rail Transit,the Guangzhou–Shenzhen intercity railway or the Dongguan–Huizhou intercity railway. The length of the railway is 36.681 kilometres. Although this first phase of the project is named Foshan–Dongguan intercity railway,it does not pass through the city of Foshan in any way. The second section of this railway from Panyu to Foshan West has been planned,prepared and the line is under construction as the southern section of Guangzhou–Foshan circular intercity railway.
Guangzhou–Foshan circular intercity railway,also known as the Guangfo ring intercity railway,is a regional rail in the Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region intercity railway system. The line will form a ring around Guangzhou,Guangdong,China. The first section between Guangzhou South to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport started construction in 2016. The line will operate with China Railway CRH6 EMUs running every 2.5 minutes.
Guangzhou–Foshan–Zhaoqing intercity railway,also known as Guangfozhao intercity railway or Foshan–Zhaoqing intercity railway,is a regional railway within Guangdong province,China. It connects the provincial capital of Guangzhou with Zhaoqing,via Foshan. It is a part of the Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region intercity railway network. It commenced operations on March 30,2016.
Changsha–Zhuzhou–Xiangtan intercity railway or Changzhutan intercity railway,is a higher-speed regional railway in Hunan,China. It connects the provincial capital Changsha with Zhuzhou and Xiangtan. The line was opened to traffic on 26 December 2016. A northwestern extension to Changsha West railway station opened on 26 December 2017. The maximum operating speed is expected to be up to 200 km/h (124 mph),travelling time between the three cities will be shortened to less than 30 minutes. The line uses China Railways CRH6F regional rail trains.

Kaifusi station is a railway and subway station in Kaifu District,Changsha,Hunan,China,operated by CR Guangzhou and Changsha Metro. It opened its services on June 28,2016. Kaifusi/ Temple Station offers interchange between Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan intercity railway and Changsha Metro Line 1. The metro station opened on 28 June 2016 while the railway station opened on 26 December 2017.
