Chris Apple (born April 9, 1970 in Millersville, Pennsylvania, United States) is a former professional soccer player and coach. He attended the University of Rochester from 1988 to 1992, where he played midfield. He led his team to three University Athletic Association Championships, and three NCAA tournament appearances. After graduating, he played professionally for SpVgg Weiden in Germany and later for the Raleigh Flyers.
He started his coaching career as an assistant soccer coach at Harvard College, which he coached in 1993. In 1994, he became the head men's soccer coach at North Carolina Wesleyan College. From 1994 to 1995, he led the team to a 12-20-1 record. From 1996 to 1999, he served as an assistant coach at the University of Notre Dame. In 2000, he became the head men's soccer coach at Notre Dame, posting a 7-8-2 record in his only season there. He was replaced by Bobby Clark. Chris Apple has been the head men's soccer coach at his alma mater, the University of Rochester, since 2001. In his nine years at the University, his teams have won four ECAC Northeast Regional Championships, four UAA Championships, and made five NCAA appearances. He has coached the Yellowjackets to a cumulative 123-29-21 record while walking the sidelines.

The Detroit Mercy Titans are the athletic teams of University of Detroit Mercy. The university is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. Jerry Yeagley is a former soccer player and coach. He was the coach of the Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team from 1973 to 2003. His teams won six NCAA Championships and a Division I record 544 games. He is considered the most successful collegiate men's soccer coach in the history of the sport. His overall career record was 544-101-45 (.828). He never had a losing season as a head coach. Yeagley was also an NCAA Champion in soccer as a player, winning the national championship with West Chester in 1961.
Robert Brown Clark is a Scottish football player and coach. Clark, who played as a goalkeeper, spent most of his playing career with Aberdeen. He also played for Queen's Park, Washington Whips, San Antonio Thunder and Clyde. Clark played 17 times for Scotland and represented the Scottish League. He later became a coach, mainly working in New Zealand and the United States.
The UCLA Bruins men's basketball program represents the University of California, Los Angeles in the sport of men's basketball as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Robert Giles Motzko is the head coach of the University of Minnesota men's hockey team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he had previously served as Assistant Coach in 2001–05. He was previously the head coach of the St. Cloud State Huskies from 2005 to 2018. During his time at SCSU, he was named the WCHA Coach of the Year in 2006 and again in 2007. In 2014 he was named the inaugural NCHC Herb Brooks Coach of the Year. In 2018 he won the Herb Brooks Coach of the Year for the second time. He guided the Huskies to six WCHA Final Five appearances, three NCHC Frozen Faceoff appearances, eight NCAA Division I tournament appearances, and one NCAA Division I Frozen Four appearance in 2013.
Scott Alan Sandelin is an American former professional ice hockey player. He is currently the head coach of the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey team. In 2011, he became the first coach in Bulldog history to lead them to a national title, in a 3–2 overtime game against the University of Michigan at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In the 2018 NCAAs, he led the Bulldogs to a second national title, over Notre Dame 2–1, also played at the Xcel Energy Center. The following season, in the 2019 NCAAs, he led the Bulldogs to a third national title. Sandelin grew up in Hibbing, Minnesota, where he went on to be drafted in the second round by the Montreal Canadiens and play collegiate hockey for the North Dakota Fighting Sioux.
Jeffery L. Jackson is an American ice hockey coach and currently is head coach at the University of Notre Dame. Previously, he was the head coach at Lake Superior State University, where he won two NCAA championships in ice hockey. He has also been an assistant coach with the New York Islanders and head coach for the Guelph Storm.
Jim McLaughlin is an American volleyball coach. He was most recently the head coach of the women's volleyball team at Notre Dame. McLaughlin was selected to be inducted into AVCA Hall of Fame in 2021.
Tim Lenahan is a retired soccer coach known for his 20-year tenure as the head men's soccer coach at Northwestern University starting with the 2001 season. He is widely regarded as one of the top program builders in NCAA soccer, as he rebuilt the Northwestern program from a team that had been winless over 35 games in 2000 and 2001 to a national power after previously rebuilding Lafayette and Stockton taking them to 6 NCAA Tournament appearances combined. His teams have made a total of 15 NCAA tournament appearances during his career. He is currently the President/CEO of Nice Guys Finish First, LLC, as an Executive Coach, leadership consultant, and motivational speaker. He serves as a color analyst for the Big Ten Network beginning since 2021. Lenahan retired as the only coach in Big Ten history with 20 years of service to also accumulate 300 wins.
