Clarien Bank Limited is one of four licensed banks in Bermuda. It was formerly known as Capital G Bank. [1] [2]

The bank is a subsidiary of Bermuda company CWH Limited which amalgamated with Capital G Bank in 2014 after which CWH became the majority shareholder. [1] [3]

Capital G Bank has its origins to the formation of Gibbons Deposit Company in 1974. [4]

The chief executive is Ian G. Truran.

In June 2021, Lindo’s Group of Companies partnered with Clarien Bank Limited [5] [6]

Same-sex marriage in Bermuda, a British Overseas Territory, is legal. It first became legal on 5 May 2017, when the Supreme Court of Bermuda declared that same-sex couples had a legal right to marry in the territory after a couple filed suit against the Bermudian Government. Those individuals had been traced to back to the fourth and sixth of March. This was the first it was confirmed and some believe that COVID-19 could have been on island undetected with asymptomatic individuals before that time.
