Clube de Autores (founded 2009) [1] is a major self-publishing platform in Latin America, with a main focus on the Brazilian market. [2] [3] [4] It is headquartered in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Clube de Autores claims to publish about 10% of the books in Brazil. [5] [6] [7]

Capitu is a Brazilian television series written by Euclydes Marinho, directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho, who also finalized the script, and presented by Rede Globo between 8 and 13 December 2008. The production was a homage to the centennial anniversary of the death of Machado de Assis, author of the 1899 novel Dom Casmurro, on which the miniseries was based. Capitu is the main female character of that novel, and is the object of Bentinho's obsession. The novel forces the reader to decide if Capitu cheated or not on Bentinho.

Adrino Aragão, , is a Brazilian short-story writer. In the 1970's And 1980's, he was a prominent Desed magazine (Brasília) and BIP – Boletim de Informação ao Pessoal, do Banco do Brasil S.A. reporter. BIP had a circulation of over 100.000 every week. Adrino Aragão wrote several reviews of new Brazilian books. After his retirement, he wrote essays on Comparative Literature and Literary Theory for Jornal do Brasil/Rio de Janeiro and academicals publications.
