Collimonas is a genus of bacteria in the family Oxalobacteraceae. [2] Culturable representatives of this genus have the ability to lyse chitin, to use fungal hyphae as a source of food, to produce antifungal molecules and to be effective at weathering . [3] [4] [5] [6]

To date, 6 species have been described Collimonas fungivorans, Collimonas pratensis, Collimonas arenae, Collimonas antrihumi, Collimonas humicola, Collimonas silvisoli. [7] [8] [9] [10]

Collimonas pratensis is a bacterium of the genus Collimonas in the Oxalobacteraceae family which was isolated with Collimonas arenae from seminatural grassland soils in the Netherlands. C. pratensis grows in meadow soils.

Chitinimonas is a genus of Gram-negative, chitinolytic, rod-shaped bacteria which have flagella from the family of Burkholderiaceae which belongs to the class Betaproteobacteria. All species of Chitinimonas have been found in regions of Asia. Species of this genus are found to be both aerobic and anaerobic. Chitinimonas is optimally grown and cultured at 25 °C to 37 °C, with very little concentrations of NaCl.

Streptomyces stelliscabiei or is a streptomycete bacterium species that is associated with common scab in potatoes. Its type strain is CFBP 4521T.

Streptomyces reticuliscabiei is a streptomycete bacterium species that is associated with netted scab in potatoes. Its type strain is CFBP 4517T. It is considered to be part of a cluster together with S. turgidiscabies, however they cause different diseases, the former involved in common scab.
