Colorado Fashion Week, (COFW) was an annual fashion event in Colorado held between 2011 and 2015. [1] The event was founded by Justice Kwesi Kwarteng [2] and organized by the JTA Group, [3] with the goal of placing Colorado in the global fashion business and featured local designers, salons and boutiques. Included were both public and private events ranging between 2 and 7 days. [4]

History

In 2010, Justice Kwesi Kwarteng did a show for the annual Red Ball. [5] The following year he created Colorado Fashion Week, the event spanned five days at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. [6] On September 17, 2012, then Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper signed a proclamation declaring October 1 - 7 2012 Colorado Fashion Week. [7] After 2015, organizers shifted to a digital growth consultant business and no longer puts on fashion week events. [8]

Nan Desu Kan (NDK) is an annual three-day anime convention held during September at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. The convention is the largest anime convention in the Rocky Mountain region and each one takes eighteen months to plan. Its name in Japanese roughly means nan desu ka (何ですか), "what is it?". The parent company, Rocky Mountain Anime Association, is a registered 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization.

Auraria Campus is an educational facility located near downtown Denver, Colorado in the United States. The campus houses facilities of three separate universities and colleges: the University of Colorado Denver, Community College of Denver (CCD), and Metropolitan State University of Denver. Phamaly Theatre Company, also known as just Phamaly, is a theater group and touring company based in Denver, Colorado, formed entirely of people with disabilities from across the spectrum. Phamaly was founded in 1989 by five people living with disabilities who wanted to create a theatre company that provided individuals like them with the opportunity to perform. Since their debut, Phamaly Theatre Company (PTC) has produced more and more shows each year, including original works which have received multiple local awards, such as Denver Post Ovation Awards, Westword Awards, and Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Awards. <i>Colorado Daily</i> Defunct American newspaper

The Colorado Daily was a newspaper published in Boulder, Colorado, by Prairie Mountain Publishing Co. LLC, a unit of MediaNews Group. Its final issue was published on September 17, 2022. The Daily was operated out of the offices of Boulder's Daily Camera newspaper. Originally the student newspaper of the University of Colorado, the Daily became independent in 1970 and underwent several ownership changes since 2001, coming under the control of the Camera, its former competitor, when it was purchased by the E.W. Scripps Co. in 2005. The newspaper and its website, coloradodaily.com, continued to focus much of their coverage on the university.

It is put on by the nonprofit Colorado Health Network to "Ignite Awareness for World AIDS Day". Held once a year, the event typically coincides with World AIDS Day or AIDS Awareness Week. The red theming of the event is inspired by the red AIDS awareness ribbon.
