The Confederation of European Data Protection Organisations (CEDPO) is a European umbrella organisation of data protection organisations.

Data protection umbrella organisation

CEDPO was founded in September 2011 by national data protection organisations as their European umbrella organisation, so far (2014) without any explicit legal form. CEDPO pursues to promote the role of the Data Protection Officer and to provide advice on balanced, practicable, and effective data protection. In addition, CEDPO aims to contribute to a better harmonisation of data protection law and practices in the European Union (EU) / European Economic Area (EEA).

Founder members

The four founder members of CEDPO are the Association française des correspondants à la protection des données à caractère personnel (AFCDP, France), the Asociación Profesional Española de Privacidad (APEP, Spain), the Gesellschaft für Datenschutz und Datensicherheit e.V. (GDD, Germany) and the Nederlands Genootschap van Functionarissen voor de Gegevensbescherming (NGFG, Netherlands). [1]

The Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations is a pan-European stakeholder organisation, representing common interests in the furtherance of laboratory animal science in Europe and beyond. The organisation was founded in 1978 and is an umbrella organisation for European national or multinational associations.

The International Society of Doctors for the Environment (ISDE) is an NGO, founded at Cortona on 25 November 1990, by doctors of various nationalities, in order to gather all doctors interested in medical problems related to ecological problems, spread awareness of the connection between environmental pollution and human health, start and support initiatives from local to global levels, and to reduce or eliminate sources of pollution and environmental pollution. ISDE has consultative status with the WHO and the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

The Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP) monitors all the conforming clubs and acts as the organizational body for professional competitions, governing the Primera División de Chile and Primera B with 32 associate clubs all together.
