Lombino grew up in Harlem, New York, as the son of a mobster. [6] Lombino's family moved to Encino, Los Angeles after her father was affiliated with the 1978 Lufthansa heist. [7] [8]
In the 1980s, Lombino began working as a stylist at a clothing store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California. [9] The store was frequented by celebrities such as Madonna.
