It continued on May 1, 2012, with the NCIS: Los Angeles episode "Touch of Death". Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Chris O'Donnell, and LL Cool J appeared in both parts of the event as Danny Williams, Chin Ho Kelly, G. Callen, and Sam Hanna, respectively. The episodes both received mostly positive ratings and received high viewing figures in multiple countries.

MacGyver centers around Angus MacGyver who uses nonviolent methods to keep the world safe, with the help of a team of undercover government agents. Magnum P.I. follows private investigator Thomas Magnum, who solves crimes in Hawaii with the help of his friends. The universe is also connected to the so-called Bellisario-verse, which consists of the entire NCIS franchise and JAG, via two direct crossovers between Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS: Los Angeles.

The series also stars Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Tori Anderson and Kian Talan. In March 2022, the series was renewed for a second season which premiered on September 19, 2022. In February 2023, the series was renewed for a third season.
