Cristian Ristea (born February 9, 1992) [1] is a Romanian professional kickboxer, currently competing in the heavyweight division of GLORY. He also competed for Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS), Golden Fighter Championship (GFC), Superkombat Fighting Championship, KO Masters and Enfusion. He is the current GFC Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion.

Ristea is ranked the #2 light heavyweight in the world by Enfusion Live. As of May 2020, Ristea was ranked the #5 heavyweight in the world by Enfusion Live. [2]

Kickboxing career

Ristea fought Florent Kaouachi for the vacant ISKA World Heavyweight K1 title. [3] Kaouachi won the fight by a fourth round TKO. [4]

He fought Vladimir Toktasynov during the OSS Fighter 4 event. Ristea won the fight by a unanimous decision. [5]

Ristea fought Jürgen Dolch during Mix Kombat 5. [6] He won the fight by TKO, after knocking Dolch down three times in the first round. [7]

Ristea took part in the 2020 OSS Fighters Heavyweight tournament. [8] In the quarter finals he knocked Thomas Froschauer out with a right hook. In the semifinals he defeated Marco Pisu by a unanimous decision. Ristea lost the final bout to Fabio Kwasi by a third round TKO. [9] [10]

Ristea was scheduled to fight Pavel Zhuravlev at FEA: Reset on March 13, 2021, for the FEA Heavyweight title. [11] However, Zhuravlev pulled out of the fight citing a bicep injury. He was replaced by Kirill Kornilov. [12] Kornilov won the fight by a second-round knockout. [13]

GLORY

On June 19, 2023, it was announced that Ristea had signed a deal with Glory. [14]

Bogdan Cristian Stoica is a Romanian professional kickboxer and boxer, and former wushu practitioner. It is the most popular combat sports and kickboxing promotion company in Romania. Former head of media and marketing for SUPERKOMBAT Alin Huiu has been managing director since its inception.

Moisés Baute Curbelo is a Spanish heavyweight kickboxer. He is the former Enfusion heavyweight champion. Baute previously fought in the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship, where he was two-time championship challenger.

Cristian Spetcu is a Romanian kickboxer. He currently competes in the featherweight division for the Colosseum Tournament, where he is the reigning Colosseum Tournament World Featherweight Champion.
