The Dubuque County Courthouse is located on Central Avenue, between 7th and 8th Streets, in Dubuque, Iowa, United States. The current structure was built from 1891 to 1893 to replace an earlier building. These are believed to be the only two structures to house the county courts and administrative offices.

The district contains 18 contributing buildings and one contributing structure. It consists of a distinctive and unspoiled grouping of 19th century governmental, commercial, and religious structures built around the village green. It includes the county courthouse and clerk's office, the local New York State DMV, several county department offices, and a bandstand. It also includes the buildings surrounding the green. The 2+1⁄2-story brick courthouse building was designed by Isaac G. Perry and features a mansard roof. Also within the district are the Presbyterian church (1831) and Bank building (1838).

It was built in 1904 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 18, 1980. It is also a contributing building in the Blakely Court Square Historic District, NRHP-listed in 2002.
The Old Clinch County Jail is a historic jail in Homerville, Georgia, Clinch County, Georgia, located in Court Square. It is a two-story brick building 35 feet by 32 feet in size and was built in 1893. It was completed in 1894 at a cost of $3,175 and was the county's jail for 33 years, until 1927.

The former Greene County Courthouse is located at Courthouse Square in the center of Paragould, the county seat of Greene County, Arkansas. It is a large two-story Georgian Revival structure, built out of red brick. It has a low-pitch hip roof with small gables at three corners, as well as above the entrances. The roof is topped by a square tower with a clock and belfry, topped by an ogee roof and spire. It was built in 1887, and was the sixth courthouse built for the county, most of the others having been destroyed by fire.

The second courthouse was built in 1845 and was destroyed by fire in 1916. The current courthouse was constructed in 1904 to 1905. It was designed in the Beaux Arts style and features a portico entrance on the corner. It was renovated in 2005.
Thomas Firth Lockwood was the name of two architects in the U.S. state of Georgia, the father and son commonly known as T. Firth Lockwood Sr. (1868-1920) and T. Firth Lockwood Jr. (1894-1963). Thomas Firth Lockwood Sr. came with his brother Frank Lockwood (1865-1935) to Columbus, Georgia, from New Jersey to practice architecture.
