Ernesto Shaw (born January 8, 1975), better known as DJ Clue, [1] is an American disc jockey (DJ), record producer, radio personality and record executive.
DJ Clue was born in Queens, New York City to Panamanian and Jamaican immigrants. [2]
DJ Clue has his own program, titled "Desert Storm Radio", every Monday to Friday 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, on Power 105.1 in New York. [1] [3] Prior to this, he disc-jockeyed at Hot 97, until 2006. [4] [5] [6] [7]
In 1998, DJ Clue founded Desert Storm Records, a record label, with his childhood friends Skane Dolla (manager) and recording engineer Ken Duro Ifill. [8]
In 1999, DJ Clue took part in the Hard Knock Life Tour, including a stop in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. [9]
In 2005, DJ Clue appeared as himself in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories , hosting a fictional hip-hop radio station The Liberty Jam .
John David Jackson, better known by his stage name Fabolous, is an American rapper. Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition for his ability upon performing live on DJ Clue's Hot 97 radio show. Jackson then signed to Clue's record label, Desert Storm Records in a joint venture with Elektra Records. He first gained mainstream prominence for his debut studio album Ghetto Fabolous (2001), which spawned the hit singles "Can't Deny It" and "Young'n ." His second album, Street Dreams (2003) was further commercially oriented and supported by the singles "Can't Let You Go" and "Into You" —both of which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

Jermaine Dupri Mauldin is an American record producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, DJ, record executive. Raised in Atlanta as the son of Columbia Records executive Michael Mauldin, he began his career in music production at the age of nine. He discovered the teen hip hop duo Kris Kross in 1991. Dupri wrote and produced their breakout 1992 single "Jump," which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 and was named the 23rd most successful song of that decade. He established his own record label, So So Def Recordings in a joint venture with Columbia the following year.
Jason Terrance Phillips, better known by his stage name Jadakiss, is an American rapper from Yonkers, New York. He began his career in the 1990s and formed the hip hop trio the Lox alongside Styles P and Sheek Louch in 1994. The group signed with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records, an imprint of Arista Records to release their debut studio album, Money, Power & Respect (1998); their second album, We Are the Streets (2000) was released by Ruff Ryders Entertainment, an imprint of Interscope Records. Rainbow is the seventh studio album by American R&B singer Mariah Carey, released on November 2, 1999, by Columbia Records.
